3.能说出时间的另一种表达方法

1.to和 past在时间表达法中的运用

实物钟,多媒体课件,练习题纸
六、教学过程
1.Greeting
T: I’m new here. And I have some questions for you.
a.        What’s your name?
b.        Do you have any hobbies?
c.        What do you usually do from morning to evening?
T: So I think you are very busy. You have a busy day.
  出示课题,带读新词busy
T: I have a riddle. Let’s guess.
  It has two or three hands on its face. It usually stays on the wall. It can say “Tick, tock, tick, tock.” It can tell us the time.
S: Clock.
T: (Show a clock to the students.) Can you say the time?
T: Let’s play a game about the time. Guess, what time is it?
  教师给出提示,学生猜时间
a.        6:30 have breakfast
b.        8:20 have lessons
c.        11:45 have lunch
d.        9:10 go to bed
2. Presentation
T: (Go to bed, please.) The clock is running. The time is passing. Tick, tock, tick, tock time.
Get up, boys and girls. Look, what time is it? (出示板书,带读)
S: It’s six forty.
T: Yes, it’s twenty to seven.(课件演示)
  It’s time to have breakfast. It’s time for breakfast.
  Have some milk and bread, please.
T: twenty to seven means six forty
  教单词to (板书并出示中文)
  带读twenty to seven
T: Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock time. What time is it?
S: It’s twenty-five to nine.
T: It’s time to have a class. It’s time for class.
  How many lessons do you have in the morning?
  What are they?
  Be quiet, it’s time for class. Let’s study hard.
S: OK.
T: Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock time. What time is it?
S: It’s fifteen to twelve.
T: Yes, it’s a quarter to twelve.
  Classes are over in the morning. We are busy in the morning. Right?
  I’m hungry. Are you hungry now?
  Let’s have breakfast.
T: Fifteen, we also can say quarter.
  教单词quarter (板书并出示中文)
  带读 a quarter to twelve
T: 让学生观察这组时间,自己找规律。
给出一组时间让学生两人小组问答(课件演示)
T: It’s one o’clock in the afternoon.
  A new friend comes to our school. Who is he?(课件出示tiger)
  He’s busy in the afternoon in our school.
  What does he do? Do you want to know?
T: Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock time. What time is it?
S: It’s one ten.
T: Yes, it’s ten past one.(课件演示)
  教单词past(板书并出示中文)
  带读ten past one
T: 让学生观察这组时间,自己找规律。
给出一组时间让学生两人小组问答(课件演示)
T: It’s ten past one. What does tiger do?
  Let’s guess.
  You can say “It’s time for… I think.
  教句型It’s time for…并比较和It’s time to…的区别
  一组It’s time for…和It’s time to…相互转换的练习
T: Let’s ask Tiger.(人机对话)
S: Hello, Tiger.
Tiger: Hello, my friends.
S: What time is it?
Tiger: It’s ten past one. It’s time for basketball. I like playing basketball. Do you want to join me?
S: OK.
下面教学步骤相同,在4:30时教单词half(板书并出示中文) 带读haly past one
T: Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock time. What time is it?
S: It’s ten past nine.
T: It’s time for bed. Good night.
T: It’s really a busy day. Right.
Consolidation
出示今天上课所用的六组时间(课件演示6:40  8:35  11:45
1:10  4:30  6:20)
让学生自己找规律并总结出to和past在时间表达中的用法
Drill:
T: Do asking and answering in pairs about the pictures on Page 55.
Exercise
听故事,在横线上选择相应的时间。
a. twenty to one                                                                e. a quarter past one
b. ten past one                                                                f. a quarter to one
c. twenty past one                                                        g. half past one
d. ten to one                                                                       
Today Mingming is busy in the afternoon.
