PEP六年级英语I’m going to plant trees .全国观摩课教学设计

义务教育课程标准实验教科书《英语》(PEP)

一、整体设计思路

1、  根据《义务教育英语课程标准》2011版指出的义务教育阶段英语课程总目标,突出工具性和人文性双重性质,以人教版PEP六年级上学期第三单元B部分Let’s read 为主要素材对文本进行了改编。以文本中的“ be going to ”为主要句型,以“计划种树”为内容载体,实施本次课堂教学。

2、  力图通过带领学生学习本课内容,培养学生用英语描述“打算做什么事”的语言运用能力。同时,通过介绍有关种树的知识,开阔学生的视野,渗透文化知识;通过谈论如何为理想而行动,培养学生为理想奋斗的品格,体现课程的人文性。让学生在谈论理想的同时,学会用英语交际,深刻理解“千里之行,始于足下”的道理。

二、教学目标

1、  知识目标:

学生能够理解并能对 、shovel, bucket, gardener, need 等词汇进行运用;

学生能够理解并运用以下句型:--What are you going to do this weekend?

I’m going to ….

2、  能力目标:

学生能够用 be going to 讨论自己的计划;

学生能够在特定语境下正确得体的使用所学语言。

3、  情感目标:

培养学生与他人交流和小组合作的意识;

鼓励学生努力学习树立信心追求自己的理想。

三、教学重点和难点

1、  学生理解并运用本节课词汇及be going to 结构。

2、  学生对于be going to 表将来时态的理解及运用。

Step I. Warming up
  • 1.      Greetings
  • 2.      Watch and say
Play a video about activities.
Step II. Presentation
1.  Lead in the new structure
Talk about the days and activities,
then lead in the sentence structures:
--What are you going to do this weekend ?—I’m going to …..
(Write the sentences on the blackboard while saying them.)
2.Pair work
Demonstrate a dialogue with a student .
Step III. Deal with the text
1Watch and answer
(1) Show a picture about Sarah and ask a question :What is Sarah going to do this weekend ?
(2)Play a video about the text .
Show the answer on the screen.
Sarah is going to plant trees .
(3) Let the students enjoy some pictures of trees .
( 4) Show a poem.
2Watch and find
(1)   Ask a question and show some pictures : What does Sarah need to plant tree?
Help the Ss read the new words :
   shovel, bucket
(2) Watch the video and fill in the blanks.
Sarah is going to buy ____and ____.
They need _____ and______.
Check and show the answers.
(3) Let the students practice the dialogue
(4) Talk about the seasons of planting trees and Tree-planting Day inChina.
3.Listen and repeat
(1) Let the students listen to the dialogue .
(2)Show pictures to explain the  word: gardener
(3)Let the students role play and act the dialogue out .
(4)Check.
4.Summarize “be going to ”structure
(1)Show the “be going to ”sentences
(2) Sing a song about it .
Step IV. Prodution
1.Pair work
(1) Make a module dialogue about weekend plans with a student .
(2) Check
2.Write and share
(1) Tell the students teacher’s dream.
(2) Let the students write down their own dreams.
(3) Share the dreams .
(4) Show a box and let students put the dream cards in it .
Step V. Enjoy a video
1. Play the videos: Trees Growth and Dreams.
2. Conclude the assessment on blackboard.
Step VI. Homework
Talk about their plans for winter holiday,


Students say the activities.



Read the sentences after teachers .
Students answer. I’m going to ….




Pair work:
--What are you going to do this weekend?
--I’m going to …
Try to guess:
watch TV, read books, plant trees, etc
Watch the video and answer.
Read the sentences together .
Enjoy the pictures and try to say the importance of trees with “Trees make….”
Read the poem.




Learn the words:
shovel, bucket
Watch the video and fill in the blanks.




Talk about the answers with partners.
Read together .
Ask and answer in pairs .
Individual pairs show .
Try to say  : It’s in spring .
It’s on March 12th .

Listen and repeat the dialogue. Try to
imitate the pronunciation and intonation .
Read in roles .
Individual pairs show the  dialogue.



Say the sentences together .
Enjoy the song first .
Sing with teacher.

One student makes a dialogue with the teacher.
Based on their real plans, students make a new dialogue in pairs.
Listen to the teacher.


Write down the dreams.
Share the dreams with partners .
Put the dreams in the box .
Enjoy the videos and try to understand what qualities they should have for their dreams.
展示实物进行分组,以评价为手段,既为下面教师调控课堂做铺垫,又为促进学生的语言学习提供保障。

通过看视频,激活学生大脑和已有知识储备,为下面be going to 的呈现环节做好铺垫。

由时间的转换自然完成由“日常做”到“将要做”的过渡,导出新句型,用pair work 进行巩固操练。

运用预测的学习策略,从内因上激发学生的学习动机。通过出示图片和交流,交代了人物及事情背景,凸显情境的真实性。

通过欣赏树的图片,引入关于树的小诗,挖掘文本的内涵,帮助学生更好的理解文本内容,同时帮助学生理解了对话中Bill 的疑问:Plant  trees?

通过看视频培养学的视听理解能力。

同桌练习文本对话,巩固文本主要住处及主干句型。



大声跟读对话,培养语音语调。操练对话,进行巩固。




通过歌曲既激发学习兴趣,又巩固重点句型。
提出明确任务,进行语言实践。鼓励学生思考,充分表达个性。提高学生在实践中运用语言的能力。培养学生学用结合的意识。




通过梦想卡,学生树立目标并写下实现梦想要做的事情,既帮助学生树立信心又操练了主干句型I’m  going  to…
学生在快乐的氛围中结束学习,首尾呼应,使情境贯穿始终。情感升华,进行德育教
