二、Presentation 三．Practice 四．Homework 三、Practise	1.Choose some pupils to read heavy and giraffe .		学生积极大胆举手。	根据音标读单词，即使读错了，也有同学能纠正。
	2.Lead in the title and write it down on the blackboard.Pupils repeat.		Pupils repeat.	感知重点句型。
	3.Draw a picture of a bear.Ask:What’this? Then an elephant,a giraffe anda deer.		Pupils:It’s a bear.	简笔画激发学生的兴趣。
	4.Ask：Which is heavier,the elephant or the bear ?Answer：The elephant is much heavier than the bear.Repeat twice.Write them on the blackboard.Have pupils read in groups. Then do the same with Which is taller,the deer or the giraffe？		Pupils repeat twice.Then read in groups.	感知重点句型。那一组读得好奖一颗星星。
	5.Pupils listen to the tape twice.		Pupils listen to the tape. The first time they listen and look at the blackboard.The second time they listen and look at their books. Then they read after the tape twice.Read by themselves.listen again and correct  pronunciations.	先听标准的语音语调，然后模仿。
	1.I read Qiqi,pupils read Eve.Then exchange. 2.Choose some pairs to read. 3.Have some pairs try to act the dialogue. 4.Look at the blackboard.Read the four sentences together. 5. Read the four sentences together again.		Boys read Qiqi,girls read Eve.Then exchange. Read in pairs. Boys and girls ask and answer.Groupwork and pairwork.	再次熟悉课文。 读得好的那一组奖一颗星星。 接受能力强的同学几乎可以脱离书本表演了。表演的好的同学全班鼓掌表扬。 反复操练重点句型。 小结。学生在知识的掌握和课堂表现做出自我评价，三个等级： good , Just-so-so, try hard

教学反思

本节课的重点是 理解并掌握由which 引导的选择疑问句和比较级的结构及其答语。首先通过简笔画激发了学生的学习兴趣，再次第八课和第九课的铺垫降低了本课难度，第三对学生的的表扬让他们体验到了成功的快乐，所以本节课还是比较成功的；但是操练形式还是groupwork and pairwork 用的比较频繁，以后还要多用一下chain action,以后尝试一下先和一名学生表演两遍对话，然后再让学生听录音。
