三、Practice and consolidation
1. Show the questions and read:
(1) What are they going to do ?
(2) What’s Mum going to do ?
(3)What are they going to do after lunch?
2. Listen and think over the questions.
3. Talk about the questions in your groups.
4. Answer the questions, then find out and read the sentences.
(1) They are going to have lunch together.
(2) Mum’s going to make a birthday cake for Amy.
(3) After lunch, they are going to sing and dance.
5.Have you found other sentences? (课文中还有其他表示一般将来时的句子,你能找到吗?)T: How many? Read together.
四、Task fulfilling and sum up

We/You/They are
这个结构表示的是准备、打算、计划做某事。
T: Say the chant and clap your hands.
“I’m going to,He’s going to, She’s going to,It’s going to, We are going to,You are going to,They are going to.”
5.If today was your birthday. Look at the pictures on the board.

6.Talk about with your partner.
7.Look and fill in the blanks.

8.Pass the paper strip.
T says the chant, Ss pass and say.
9.教师小结:今天我们学习了一般将来时be going to的句式,表示打算、准备、计划做某事,一般将来时还有另外一个句式will,表示将要做某事,will后面接动词原形。
