Step 1 Revision
1. Ask and answer in pairs using these questions.
Where are you from? I’m from China. Where do you come from?
I come from France.
2. Revise some old words and then play a game.
Practice saying the sentences like this:
A: I’m a teacher.
B: I’m thirty forty.
C: I come from Beijing.
Step 2 Presentation.
1. Teach the new words and  sentences:
New words: where from china Russia France Germany
Sentences: Where are you from? I’m from China
2. Practice saying these sentences.
I want a….
I come from…
3.Acording to these sentences practice saying pictures
Step 3Practice.
Divide the students into groups. Cute group and act group, practice asking and answering.
Step 4 Applications.
1. Act out the dialogue in groups.
2. Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns.
Step 5 Homework
1. Listen to the tape at home.Make up the new dialogue.
2. Copy the new words and sentences three time.

教学目标
知识目标:能够询问和回答某人来自什么地方。
能力目标:能听懂,会说要求的单词和句子
情感价值:进一步提高对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。
能积极主动地参与课堂活动,在情景对话中大胆开口,主动模仿。
教学重点
能够掌握句型: Where do you come from?/Where are you from?
I come from .../ I’m from...
教学难点
通过创设真实典型的语言情景,让学生在轻松、愉快的气氛中,通过小组活动和完成任务的方式,自然运用所学知识,提高语言运用能力。

教学过程
Step1. 热身 / 复习(Warm-up / Revision)
(1)组织学生分小组活动,每个学生手中拿一面国旗或一张地图,两组学生展开对抗赛,比赛可限时为一分钟。一方提问:Where do you come from?对方举起手中的国旗或地图回答:I come from America.
(2)把Where are you from? 歌词改为Where do you come from? 将全班分两组,一组演唱问句,一组演唱答句。
Step2.新课导入(Presentation)
(1)教师在黑板上画出中国、法国、美国、德国和日本的地图。先请学生分别说出分别是哪个国家。然后教师向学生交待第一个任务:将这几个国家的国旗分别贴在相应的地图上并说出以下句子:
I'm from America. / I come from America.
(2)教师找几个学生站在黑板前,接受其他同学的提问:What's your name? How old are you? What do you do? Where are you from? Where do you come from? Do you like China? 等等。教师要鼓励学生多提问,并指导学生提出的问题要有意义。对于有创新的同学教师要适当给予奖励,如:给一张笑脸等。
(3)教师向全班学生提出问题:Where are you from? 学生回答:I'm from China.然后,教师指导学生学习单词:where, from, China。拼写单词时,教师应注意指导学生说出和所给音素相对应的字母或字母组合,使学生能熟悉拼读规则。教师在单词教学的基础上,请两个学生分别写出问句:Where are you from? 答句:I'm from China.在指导学生书写时,及时发现问题,及时纠正。学生经常会忽略句子开头的字母应大写、单词间应有空格、专有名词大写等问题。对于以上问题,教师要及时讲解。在此基础上,请全班同学在英语练习本上仿写。
(4)教师向全班学生交待第二个任务:找朋友。请学生拿出事先做好的卡片和地图,教师先给学生做示范,拿出自己的卡片,然后说:Hello! I'm Sally.I'm from New Zealand.I'm twenty-five.I'm a teacher of English.I want a friend from England.然后,教师再走到学生中问:Who comes from England? 到拿英国地图的学生面前说:Where do you come from? 请这个学生回答:I come from England.教师和这个学生握手并说:Shall we be good friends? 这个学生回答:Ok. / All right. / Great! 等等。
教学过程
(5)全班学生分小组练习,分别请两组学生到前面来做表演,并指导学生互相进行评价,选出最佳小组。
(6)教师播放 chant录音,让学生先听,后模仿。然后教师讲解 all day, all the way 的意思,帮助学生理解整段 chant 的内容。多听几遍录音,最后让学生自己拍节奏说 chant。
Step 3.趣味操练(Practice)
(1)教师将两张世界地图贴在黑板上,将同学分为两个小组,一组学生手里拿有国家英文名称的卡片,另一组学生拿有这个国家的国旗的卡片,先请拿有单词卡的同学将单词卡贴到相应的地图上并准确地说出:I'm from .... 另一组学生立刻将相应的国旗和单词卡贴在一起并说出:I come from .... 位置和语句都正确的组得一分。
(2)单词拼写接力比赛。将学生分成 8~10 人一组,给一分钟时间,看哪个组拼写的单词最多,比赛规则:一个学生拼写单词的最后一个字母,必须是第二个学生拼写单词的开头字母。这项活动可以培养学生的团队精神和合作意识,增强集体荣誉感。
(3)小组项目制作:每组同学将各自搜集的资料做成小报,贴出自己新朋友的照片画像及相关的信息资料。全班评选最佳小组。
