一、教学内容与分析
1．Just speak
本课继续学习介绍他人及询问职业的用语，鼓励学生学会在所给情景中进行自由交流。教师应给学生创建真实的情景，以便为真实的交际提供条件。
2．Just read and write
学习有关职业的名词: doctor, nurse, driver，做到正确听、说、认读。学习字母：uniform—Uu 　vest—Vv　 watch—Ww  box—Xx　 yacht—Yy　zebro—Zz，做到正确听、说、读、写。
3．Let’s chant
用歌谣复习巩固所学知识。通过分组说、全班说等小组竞赛的形式，调动学生的积极性，同时培养小组的合作精神。
二、课前准备
1．按照11页的彩图制作三种职业的卡片。
2．制作Uu—Zz的卡片。
三、教学步骤与建议
1．热身 / 复习（Warm-up / Revision）
（1）复习第4课对话内容。请学生将自己编好的对话表演给大家看。
（2）慢动作（Slow Motion）。教师把事先装入信封里的字母卡片或职业图片慢慢拿出，一次只让学生看卡片或图的一小部分。奖励第一个说出字母或词的学生。
2．新课导入（Presentation）
（1）启发学生：你长大了要当什么？（What will you be when you grow up?）学生给出各种职业，已学过的职业要用英语回答。教师解释各行各业同等重要。
（2）通过表演，导入单词doctor, nurse与postman。如导入doctor一词时，教师可以捂着肚子说：I’m not very well today．走到一桌前坐下来，教师扮医生做出给病人把脉、写处方单等动作，然后说：Have two pills each time, twice a day．You’ll be OK．做完后问学生：What am I?
（3）看挂图或投影，听录音，学习本课对话。模仿语音语调。教师应鼓励学生整体接受词汇，并适当重复，让学生体验英语单词的正确读音。
（4）两人一组，一学生拿人物及职业图片与另一学生进行对话SA: Look, this is my uncle．SB: He’s cool! What’s he? SA: He’s a postman．
（5）学习字母Uu—Zz，注意字母读音：Uu / ju: / , Vv /vi: / , Ww / dUblju: / , Xx / eks / , Yy / wai / , Zz / zed /
3．趣味操练（Practice）
（1）让一位学生从备好的小盒中抽出一卡片，然后做动作表示卡片上的职业，学生根据动作用英语猜职业，猜对有奖。
（2）找朋友。学生分两组，一组拿图或字母的大写形式，一组拿单词或字母的小写形式，以最快速度配对。
（3）学生画出与学过职业有关的道具，如司机开的车，医生、护士用的听诊器等，其他学生看画猜职业。
4．课堂评价（Assessment）
完成活动手册的内容。教师应鼓励学生在真实的情景中运用 What’s your... ? She /He is ... 从而体验真实的交际过程，并用不同的方法引导学生认识三个单词：doctor，nurse，driver。
（1）能在真实的情景中运用本课语言。分组表演对话，要求语音语调正确。
（2）出示图片，让学生快速说出表示图片中职业的单词。看单词，能大声读出并说出汉语意思。
5．补充活动（Additional activities）
（1）回家后听录音，模仿本课对话编新对话。
（2）复习本单元出现的表示职业的15个名词。

I. Teaching Procedures:
Step One: Greetings
Step Two: Warm-up
1. Review the letters, words and drills they’ve learned last lesson.
2. Act out the dialogues they’ve made in role.
Step Three: Presentation
1. Learn the letters: U u--uniform, V v--vest, W w--watch, X x--box, Y y--yacht, Z z--zebro. (Use the letter cards.)
(Write the new letters on the blackboard.)
2. Learn the new vocabulary “doctor, nurse, postman” by using the pictures.
(Write the new words on the blackboard.)
3. Learn the target language “What’s your mother?
She’s a doctor.”.
4. Learn the dialogue.
Step Four: Practice
1. Ask the students to listen to the tape recorder, and repeat after it.
2. Let the students practice the dialogue in groups.
3. Get the students to act out the dialogue in role.
4. Let’s chant.
My father is a doctor.
My mother is a nurse.
My uncle is a postman.
My aunt is a driver.
Step Five: Assessment
Make the assessment individually, in groups and in chorus.

一、教学目标
1. 能听懂会使用单词。
2. 能在图片的提示下，在语句中正确认读单词，并跟录音正确朗读。
3. 能听懂会运用This is my…介绍自己的家庭成员；
4. 能听懂会运用She’s a… / He’s a…介绍他人的职业。
5. 能在录音的提示下，有表情地朗读课文。
二、教学重难点
1. 学会用This is my…介绍自己的家人,  She is a…介绍他人的职业。
2. 能口头运用 This is...句型介绍家人，培养学生与他人的语言交际能力。
三、教学过程
Step 1. Warming- up
Sing an English song “What’s this ?”
通过优美动听的歌曲为学生营造快乐的课堂氛围，让学生轻松地进入英语课堂。
Step 2. Revision
1) 抢答竞赛。
T: Look! 教师出示图片
老师问What’s this ?
学生用句型It’s a…抢答。
通过抢答游戏，调动学生的兴趣，同时增强学生学习英语的欲望。
2) 教师利用实物介绍说：This is a pen /pencil/chair/desk.学生跟读。
使学生回顾This is a…句型，为后面的学习奠定基础。
Step 3. New lesson
1) T: (Listen to the tape)
第一遍：理解课文大意。
第二遍：带着问题仿读课文，注意 语音语调。
第三遍：加深对课文的理解并检查问题的答案。
2) Show some pictures.
T: Do you know them?
S: doctor, nurse, driver.
Teach: doctor, nurse, driver.
3) T: I want to show you a photo. This is my family. Can you find me?
Look at the man. She’s my mother.
Teach: mother, my mother, This is my mother.
Drill: ① Read the word and the sentence.
     ② T: Say “Hello” to my father.
     ③ Ss introduce their fathers.
Step 4: Practice
Show the picture of doctor, nurse, driver.
Ask the questions: What does your mother do?

To draw a happy family about yours’ and introduce your mother and your father.
