Unit 1 This is my new friend Lesson 4 教学设计
一、教学内容与分析
1.Just speak
本部分运用Jim把照片中的人物介绍给Gao Wei的对话,引导学生学习如何使用What’s your father? 询问职业,并作简单问答。
2.Just read and write
学习三个有关职业的名词:driver, teacher, farmer,做到正确听、说、认读。学习字母:panda—Pp  quail—Qq  rabbit—Rrsquirrel—Ss  tiger—Tt,做到正确听、说、读、写。
3.Let’s play
通过做动作猜职业的游戏,灵活运用询问职业的句子和表示职业的词汇。
二、课前准备
1.准备第9页的人物图片及代表相关职业的图片。
2.准备包含字母Pp—Tt的单词图片、实物或玩具。
3.准备父母亲的照片供活动使用。
三、教学步骤与建议
1.热身 / 复习(Warm-up / Revision)
(1)唱歌曲 Where are you from?
(2)游戏:什么不见了?(What’s missing?)教师拿出几张已学过的字母或单词卡片,学生仔细看10秒钟然后闭上眼睛。教师拿走一张卡片。学生睁开眼辨认什么不见了。
2.新课导入(Presentation)
(1)表演第3课对话。看照片,老师提问Who’s that boy? 引导学生回答 It’s me.引出对家庭成员的介绍 This is my father ... 并教学生形容某一人物的表达法:He’s cool.cool 一般用于口语中,表示某人打扮时髦或表示感叹“棒极了”。
(2)看第8页的图,教师介绍人物、地点和情景。听录音两遍,请学生说出对话内容。
(3)听录音跟读,同座位两个学生分别充当一个角色,练习本课小对话。用What’s your father?造句练习,用所学过的词汇做替换练习,以巩固所学内容。
(4)出示图片学习新词,老师在黑板上范写单词,学生认读。
(5)学习字母:panda—Pp  quail—Qq rabbit—Rrsquirrel—Ss  tiger—Tt字母读音:Pp / pi: / , Qq / kju: / , Rr / A:/ , Ss / es / , Tt / ti: / ,注意字母q中 / ju: / 的读音。
(6)玩 I spy.游戏,练习Pp—Tt字母及包含这些字母的单词(规则见第1课)。
3.趣味操练(Practice)
(1)猜职业。
将学生分成小组,教师拿出一张职业图片,各组轮流派两名学生,一学生做与图片上的职业相关的动作,另一学生问 What is he / she? 其他组学生猜,猜对得分。
(2)接龙游戏:What’s your father / mother? He/ She is ...
4.课堂评价(Assessment)
完成活动手册的内容。教师应利用本课对话引导学生学会用英语询问职业。询问某人职业的时候,可以说:What’s + 某人 ? 回答为:He / She is a / an + 职业.认读三个有关职业的名词: driver, teacher, farmer,用图片表演对话。要求学生认识这三个单词,并能在真实的情景中运用。
(1)猜人物职业:Guess, what is he? A driver? Right.He’s a driver. / No, he’s a...
(2)互相询问家人的职业,编新对话。
5.补充活动(Additional activities)
将全班分成若干组,根据学生准备的照片,询问照片中人物的职业。

New Vocabulary: driver, teacher, farmer (3 skills)
Target Language: What’s your father?
Guess!
A driver?
No, he’s a teacher.
Language Functions: greetings
b)Task Activities: Learn to read and write the letters.
Learn to read and write the words.
Learn to read and say the new dialogue.
C. Intelligence Development: Develop the ability for fast response.
D. Moral Education: Get along well with others.
Enjoy English.

A tape recorder, pictures and some letter cards.

Teaching Procedures:
Step One: Greetings
Step Two: Warm-up
1. Review the letters, words and drills they’ve learned last lesson.
2. Act out the dialogues they’ve made in role.
Step Three: Presentation
1. Learn the letters: P p--panda, Q q--quail, R r--rabbit, S s--squirrel, T t--tiger. (Use the letter cards.)
(Write the new letters on the blackboard.)
2. Learn the new vocabulary “driver, teacher, farmer” by using the pictures.
(Write the new words on the blackboard.)
3. Learn the target language “What’s your father?
Guess!
A driver?
No, he’s a teacher.
4. Learn the dialogue.
Step Four: Practice
1. Ask the students to listen to the tape recorder, and repeat after it.
2. Let the students practice the dialogue in groups.
3. Get the students to act out the dialogue in role.
4. Let’s play. What is he/she?
Step Five: Assessment
Make the assessment individually, in groups and in chorus.
【课后练习作业】
Homework:
Must do: Copy the letters and the new vocabulary.
Read the dialogue and recite it.
Choose to do: Make innovation.
Make up new dialogues in groups.
Prepare for the next lesson.

Step 1. Greeting and free talk

Introduce your friends to me. (work in three.)
A: Hello, Miss Dong, this is xx.

2)Show some pictures.

Step 2. Presentation
1)T: I want to show you a photo. This is my family. Can you find me?

Drill: ① Read the word and the sentence.
     ② T: Say “Hello” to my father.
     ③ Ss introduce their fathers.
2)Teach: What does your father do?
Way: T: My father is a teacher. What does your father do?
Step 3: Practice
1)show the picture of teacher, farmer and postman.
ask the questions: What does your father do?
2)Listen to the dialogue and answer: What does your father do?
3)Read the dialogue.
Step 4: Homework
Summary the new words and the sentences.
