五、教学过程
Step 1.Warming up.(热身)
1. Greetings.
2. Let‟s chant.
教师带领学生复习上节课的学习的韵诗
”Make a cake”.
老师询问学生:“Can you chant?”得到学生的肯定回答后,老师播放伴奏录音,带领全班一起朗诵韵诗。教师板书can,让学生认读。
3. Review the action phrases.
T: I will stand here and do the actions. Please say it after. Ok?
师做动作,生说出动词词组。write a letter, cook vegetables, row a boat等。
设计意图:巩固复习动作词组,为课堂学习提供更多的素材,同时通过复习旧的词组,引出新单词,即“推陈出新“,为下一步的学习搭建一个阶梯,让学生顺着这个梯子一步一步的往高爬。
Step2: Presentation. (呈现)
1. Have a match.
T: I can run fast,(师边说边做跑步的动作)Can you run fast? Who wants to try?师生一起向前跑,让学生跑得快,学生为winner.
T: Good! You can run fast. You‟re the winner.由此引出课题并带读,教授新单词:“can” “run fast”
设计意图:给学生以学习的动力,为学生树立自信心。
2.Look and answer.
T: Look, they are run fast. Can you run fast?
T: If you can, please nod your head and say “I can”. If you can‟t please
shake your head and say “I can‟t.”(师强调can 与can't的发音,纠正学生的发音错误。)
S1: Yes, I can.
S2: No, I can‟t.
T: They can jump high. Can you jump high?
T: They can jump far. Can you jump far? (学习词组: jump high/ jump far注意用肢体语言辅助教学,强调jump的发音示范。)
学习重点句型: Can you… ?Yes, I can./No, I can't.
3. Who is the winner?
T: Can you run fast?
Ss: Yes, I can.
Teacher asks some students to run and reward the winner.
4.Picture 1
T: Look, this is Amy and Sam. What are they talking?
T: Listen to the tape and repeat. (师播放录音)
Sam: Amy, can you run fast?
Amy: Yes, I can.
Sam: Ahh! I‟m the winner. You can‟t run fast.
T: Who is the winner?
Ss: Sam.
T:Yes,Sam can run fast. Amy can‟t run fast.
5. Picture 2—4.
T: Look and listent carefully, then answer these questions.
Who can jump high?
Who can jump far?
Who can ride fast?
提问的同时出示卡片,教学新单词“ride”,及时做小结。再播放录音,学生再完整跟读一遍课文。
6. 小组合作。小组内分角色朗读课文并表演。
Step 3 Practice(趣味操练)
1、Make sentence with “Can you”(请两个学生到教师前面,A说明自己的能力并做出相应的动作。B如果会回答并模仿相同的动作,如果不会就摇头回答后回到座位上去。)
A:I can jump high.Can you?
B: Yes, I can./ No, I can‟t.
2.Ask and answer and act. 师生较量,生生较量
T: Can you sing?(并表演唱歌)
Can you dance?(并伴有示范跳舞)
Can you jump far?(并跳远)
学生代表到前台回答"Yes, I can". 并表演出来(唱歌、跳舞...),若回答"No, I
can't". 则承认老师赢了,"you're are the winner."之后小组两两进行对话表演较量。
Step 4. Survey.(调查表)
We had the sports meeting. Ask the group leader to do a survey.
A: Can you jump high?
B: Yes I can. /No, I can't.
T: Look, they are run fast. Can you run fast?
T: If you can, please nod your head and say “I can”. If you can‟t please shake your head and say “I can‟t.”(师强调can 与can't的发音,纠正学生的发音错误。)
S1: Yes, I can.
S2: No, I can't.
