The Baby Rabbits and the wolf (教案)

设计理念
在教学中,主要采用图片环游法教学,通过图片获取信息,比如文本中的人物信息和所发生的事情等等。教师充分利用图片和声音进行些问题的设定,学生充分发挥他们的想象力对故事情节的发展进行些猜测,再通过默读文本验证他们的猜测是否正确,激发学生的兴趣,充分调动学生的积极性,学生在教师的引导下了解故事的情节发展,并且学习到一些阅读技能,为以后学生自主阅读故事提供些辅助作用。
教学重点:
能正确地理解故事内容,体会人物语言的情感。
教学难点:
能用自己的语言复述并表演故事。
Step1. Before reading
1. T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m your new teacher today. My Chinese name is Zhuang Guili. My English name is Shirley. What’s your name? Do you have any animal friends? Can you describe your animal friends?

2. T: I have some hobbies. I like singing songs, but I’m not good at it. What do you like?  Ss:…
T: I also like reading stories. Do you like reading stories?
3. T: Today we will read a story about “The baby rabbits and the wolf”.
Step2: While reading
1. (Picture)T: Who are they? S: The rabbits.
T: Look at the tittle, they are baby rabbits.
2. T: What do you think of the baby rabbits?
Ss: lovely, nice, white, cute, fat…
3. (picture兔子流口水) T: What’s the matter with the baby rabbits? S:…
Baby rabbits: Mummy, there is no food on the table. We are so hungry now.
4. T: What will their mother do? (Guess)
Mummy: Oh, poor babies. I’m going shopping now.
5. T:What do they want to eat? (很多食物图片) Ss:…
(兔宝宝图片)圈出兔宝宝身上的胡萝卜
Baby: Mummy, I want to have many carrots.
6. T: mummy will go shopping and buy some carrots now. Look at her face , how does she feel? Ss: Worried, anxious…
T:What will she say?(Guess)
Mummy: Ok, dear. Close the door and the window. Don’t let others come in.
7. (走路声)T: Who is coming? Listen and guess.
(狼的图片)wolf. T: What does he want to do?( guess)
Read paragraph 2 quickly and catch the answer.
Wolf: You are so yummy. I’ll eat you, haha!
8. T: But he is outside, what can he do?(guess)
Read quickly and circle the key words.
T: What does he say?
Wolf: Open the door. I am your mummy.
9. T: Do baby rabbits open the door? Ss: No.
What do they do then?(guess)

Baby: Oh, That’s a wolf!
10.T: What can they do? Who can help them? What’s your idea?

Read silently and find the key sentences.(“Mummy, show us your tail”)
11. What do you think of the baby rabbits?

Read carefully and underline the key sentences.
13. The wolf puts his tail into the door, the baby rabbits see it. What will they do? (picture)

14.T: When we are at home alone, someone knocks the door. What should we do?
So we should protect ourselves anywhere.
15. After a while , their mother comes back. What will she say to their babies?
Mummy: You are so clever, honey. Here are some carrots for you.
16. Read the story.
Step3. After reading
1. Retell the story.
2. Role play.
Step4. Homework
1. Try to tell the story to your parents.
2. Try to read a new story after class and share it with us next class.
