Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Chen Jinjin. It’s my great pleasure to be here for competing to our bilingual math teacher.
As an English teacher, I have been teaching students in Grade 1 for 3 years. So I have very rich experience on teaching Grade one students. I understand the characteristics of students in Grade one better. According to this, I have many methods to stimulate their interests in learning. This is my one advantage.
My second advantage is that I had received a systematic bilingual teacher training. In 2013 I participated in the bilingual teacher training of Zhengzhou. During the process, I further strengthened my English knowledge as well as learned professional bilingual teaching philosophy. Because of my hard work, I was awarded the title of the outstanding student at the end of the training. At the same time, I also went to Australia to further study the bilingual teaching. While studying in Australia, I not only communicate with foreign colleagues about the bilingual teaching theory, but also practice more for the bilingual teaching. This experience makes me have a more profound understanding of bilingual teaching and accumulates my experience of bilingual teaching.
In 2014, I participated in the competition of interpretation of the teaching materials, and won the special-class award of primary school English group. This is my third advantage. Although bilingual math is a new discipline for me, with the successful experience I am more confident to teach bilingual math.
The bilingual math teaching is a challenge for me, but it is also a chance to promote my ability. I always believe that Nothing is difficult if you put your heart in it. So I’m confident of the bilingual math teaching. |
