教学策略的选择与设计
本节课的教学设计主要是围绕天气学习展开。以the map of China引入从学生以熟悉的地名: Harbin, Qingdao, Guangzhou等,向学生渗透和复习-What’s the weather like in____? -It’s ____ in____.的句型。运用这个句型,以旧带新,学习新的天气单词和 It is____ and___ in ______. 的表达方式。最后结合世界地图复习之前学过的国际都市名称及新单词Singapore, Moscow。通过教师的层层引导,实现学生语言的综合运用和提升,让孩子熟练地用英语表达天气。

教学过程
Step 1
Greeting and warming up:Listen and sing the song What’s the weather like today?
Step 2:
1. Look at the picture of different cities in China and talk about the weather to review the weather words and the conversation pattern.
(Purpose: prepare the students for the new knowledge.)
2. Consolidate the new words using the “Boming Game”.
Step 3
1. Use the map of the world to introduce the weather in the world and learn the new words of the cities and practice the conversation pattern.
(Purpose: let the students to get familiar with the city names and reinforce their understanding of weather conversation pattern)
2. Make a dialogue
Using the sentence and hint the teacher shows on the PPT, talk about the world weather.
Step 4
Listening exercise & free talk about the weather in Shijiao town in four seasons.
Homework
1.Talk about the weather in English with your friends.
2.Copy the new words.
3.Read the dialogue out loud three times. |
