《Unit 2 My Days of the Week Part B let’s learn》教学设计

【Teaching Objectives】:
1. Listen and understand the chant.
2. Listen, speak, read and write: Sunday, Saturday, do homework, watch TV, read books. Using them in true scene.
3. Listen, speak and read:What do you do on Saturdays?I often do my homework. Using them in true scene.

Key Points: Words and express: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, watch TV, read books.
Difficult points: Learning the words and express, using and substitute the key phrase in true scene.

Contents: Enjoy a song.Part B Let’s learn Let’s chant .


Course:

Step One: Warm-up / Revision
1. First ,let Ss read the topic together”My Days of The Week.”
Then ,listen a song, review the days of the week..T:星期一?Ss:Monday.Review the words:Monday,Tuesday,…Friday.Pay attention to the words “after”, “before”and the meanings of them.

Step Two: Presentation

1. T:after Monday?Ss: Tuesday. .T:after Friday?Ss: Saturday. T:beforer Monday?Ss: Sunday.Lead to new words:Saturday, Sunday.Let Ss say the days from Sunday to Saturday.Say them three times at a breath.

Game(Choose a group):To you like Saturdays?Ss:Yes./No…If you like Saturdays,you kiss it and say “Saturdays, Saturdays .I like Saturdays”. Practise Sunday using this way.To you like Sundays?Ss:Yes./No…If you like Sundays,you hold it and say “Sundays, Sundays .I like Sundays”.

2. Oral practice.
T: What do you have on Saturdays?
B: Watch TV .

C: Read books.
D: Play computer games….


Step Three: Presentation

1.T: I interviewed Ming Ming,too.What do you have on Saturdays, Ming Ming?

M:I often do my homework, read books and watch TV.

2.Lead into the sentence:I often….Teach the word “often”.

Watch Courseware,teach the phrase: do homework, watch TV, read books. Show the card and learn: do homework, watch TV,read books. Write the phrases.And play a remember game.

Let Ss read the sentences and clap their hands:do homework ,do homework,Ioften do my homework.Then ,practice the phrases using this way.

3.Tell Ss I am a reporter of CCTV.Choose students to play Ming Ming.

T:I interviewed Ming Ming,too.What do you have on Saturdays, Ming Ming?

S1:I often do my homework, read books and watch TV.S2,S3…

Game :I say Chinese, you say English.Practise the sentence:I often…

4.Interview.

T:Who wants to be the reporter,you should say “What do you do on Saturdays?”lead to the sentence.

Let Ss read the sentence after me.Choose a student to play the reporter.

Talk about the action at the weekend in pairs.


Step Four: Chant
Let’s chant

Play the chant, ask what do they do at the weekend.
Listen and read the chant, action .


Step Five: Homework
1.Listen to the tape three times.Recite and write B Let’s learn .
2. Interview your three friends.
3. Sing the chant to your parents.
