教学目标：1，学习生词及词组。
2，句型：(1)When I first arrived, I was afraid of riding my bike anywhere.
(2 )It’s easy to park bikes.
3,学习有关骑自行车的话题，并了解骑自行车的优劣。
教学重难点：1，学习if引导的条件状语从句。
2，了解骑自行车的优劣。
课前准备：录音机。
教法与学法：启发式，讨论。
教学过程：Step1,Review
1,复习when/while/after /as soon as引导的时间状语从句。
2,让学生完成44页3a的练习。然后全班一起核对。
3,教师做一个调查：教师问学生：How do you usually go to school? Why do you go to school by.....?
Step2,Presentation
1, 老师说：Most of us go to school by bike.Then who can tell the traffic rules.You should obey when you ride a bike?
S1:We must ride on the right side.
S2:When the traffic lights are red ,we must stop.
2,让学生们读1a的内容，并从中找出生词，然后老师给予解释。
3，听1 a ，判断下列句子的正误。
1),Traffic in Beijing is very good.( )
2),Michael isn’t afraid to ride a bike anywhere in the city.( )
3),Riding bicycles can save money and energy.( )
4,让学生两人一组表演对话。
