第五课时
一、教学目标与要求.
1. 能够听懂、会说本课对话,并能在情境中运用。
2. 能够听、说、读、写句型“Where does she work? How does she go to work?”并在情景中运用。
3. 能够理解 Story time 的故事内容。
二、教学重、难点分析
1.本课重点是掌握句型:Where does she work? How does she go to work? 2.本课难点是正确使用本单元重点句型。
三、课前准备
1.教师准备 A、B Let's learn 部分的单词卡片、家庭成员卡片和一些交通方式的卡片。
2. 教师准备 Story time 部分的挂图。
四、教学步骤和建议
1.热身(Warm-up)
教师把 A、B Let's learn 部分的职业卡片和家庭成员卡片贴在黑板上,学生观看记忆两分钟后 闭上眼睛,教师快速拿掉其中一张卡片,然后学生睁开眼睛找出拿下的是哪张卡片,第一个找出 来并正确读出单词的学生可以得到这张卡片。
2.预习(Preview)
(1)教师放第一单元歌曲“How Do You Go to School?'’的录音,学生跟唱。在热身活动中得到 卡片的学生开始把卡片传给后面的同学,依次传递,歌曲结束时,得到卡片的学生用卡片上的单 词说一个句子,如:…is a…
(2)Let's try 学生打开学生用书第 62 页,教师放录音,学生听音、勾出正确的选项。录音内容如下:
Girl:What does your mother do?
Boy:She is an engineer.
Girl:Where does she work?
Boy:She works in a shoe company.
Girl:How does she go to work?
Boy:She goes to work by subway.
3. 新课呈现(Presentation) Let's talk
(1)教师说:“I go to school by subway.”在黑板上板书:subway,学生跟说,然后教 师启发学生说出其它的交通方式, 教师把学生想到的交通方式依次写在 subway 的下面。 教师说: “1 work in a schoo1.”然后把 school 写在黑板上,启发学生说说不同的工作场所名称,如: post office,hospital,computer/shoe/car/…company 等
(2)“贴卡片”活动 教师说句子,如:My mother works in a Car company.She's an accountant.She goes to work by bus.持有 mother,bus 和 accountant 卡片的学生快速跑到黑板前把卡片贴在 Car company 的旁边。
(3)教师就黑板上的内容和学生做对话练习,如:What does your mother do?Where does she work?How does she go to work?教师板书“Where does she work?”和“How does she g o to work?”,示范朗读,学生跟说。学生两人一组根据黑板上的语言提示做对话练习。
(4)“看卡片,说句子”活动 教师面前放一摞单词卡片,依次为:职业名称卡片,工作地点卡片和交通方式卡片。活动开 始,教师随意从第一摞卡片中抽取一张职业卡片,如:engineer,举起来问:“What doesyou r father do?”学生回答“He's an engineer.”教师继续抽取一张工作地点卡片,举起来,如: Car company,问:“Where does he work?”学生说:“He works in a Car company.”教师 再抽取一张交通方式卡片,如:bus,问:“How does he go to work?学生回答:“He goes t o work by bus.”游戏进行几轮后,可以请几名学生轮流代替教师抽卡片,提问题。
(5)教师放本部分的录音,学生跟读。学生两人一组读课文对话。
(6)学生两人一组做对话替换练习。
(7)教师指导学生书写四会句子。
4.巩固和延伸(Consolidation and ex tension) Group work
(1)学生在教室里走动并采访几名同学,如:Where does your father work? How does he go to work?并记录在自制的表格内。调查结束后,请几名学生汇报调查结果,如:Sarah's fathe r works in a schoo1.He goes to work by subway
(2)做活动手册 B Let's talk 部分的配套练习。
(3)Let's check 做 C 部分 Let's check 练习,学生听音打勾。 录音内容如下:
①Girl:What does your father do? Boy:He's an artist.
②Girl:What does your aunt do? Boy:She's an engineer.
③Girl:Where does your uncle work? Boy:He works in a school.
④Girl:How does your aunt go to work? Boy:She goes to work by subway.
(4)Story time 教师向全班学生展示本部分的挂图,根据故事的内容提几个问题, 着问题听录音阅读故事。下面的问题供参考:
①Who's that woman?
②What does the woman do?
③How does she go to work?
④What does she like to do?
⑤Does Zip like dancing?
