五年级下册英语Module5 Unit 1教学设计
Module 5 Unit 1 It’s big and light.
一、 教学目标
1. 知识目标:能够听、说、认读单词light, broken,  heavy,hard;掌握目标句型:It’s big and light.及其It’s got …wheel(s)…. ;理解句子It will be easy for you等;
2. 能力目标:会用It’s + 形容词句型来描述一个事物的特征,进行对比,并作出选择。
3. 情感目标:继续培养学习英语的兴趣,在语境中运用英语,体验英语学习的乐趣;培养理性的购物心理,即“适合自己的就是最好的”。
二、 教学重点
会用It’s + 形容词句型来描述一个事物的特征,进行对比,作出选择。
三、 教学难点
单词heavy/light/broken/hard的发音及其描述事物特It’s+形容词句型。
过程设计:
Step1 Warming up
1、Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you.
S: Hello,  Nice to see you.
T: I like yellow. What’s your favorite colour?
S: I like…(复习颜色词)
2、Review: 课件1(用一个词形容下列物品)
(复习形容词fat-thin tall-short, long-short, new-old, big-small )
T: Ok, let’s read the words together. 在课件上呈现形容词,并让学生读一遍。(课件2)
3、Listen and chant.(相机学习hard)(课件3)
Step2  Lead in
   T:  Do you like going shopping?
   T: I like going shopping very much. And I bought a new bag yesterday at the
department store. Look, this is my new bag. It’s big and light. It’s got two pockets. I like it very much.
Step3 New contents
1.Our friend Lingling wants to buy a new bag. Here are three bags, the black bag,
the green bag and the blue bag. (课件4)
Let’s watch and listen first and find out which bag that Lingling choose?( 课件4右下角图标,看flash.)
2.Teach new words:  heavy, light, pockets, broken.
(1) T: Why does Lingling want to buy a new bag?
What’s wrong with Lingling’s bag?
Let’s listen to picture 1 and find out the answer.(课件5 课件6)
T:It’s broken
教学单词 broken
(2)Tingling’s bag is broken, Ms Smart wants to buy her a new one. So now they are at the department
store. Read part two. And find out : What’s the black bag like?
T: Yes, It’s nice and big ,but it’s heavy.(板书 nice and big , heavy)
教学单词 heavy (相机教授It’s= It is)
(3)T: Let’s go on and find out what’s the green bag like?
继续读图二内容,
T: Yes, the green bag is small and light. It’s got two pockets.
(板书small and light   two pockets.)
教学单词light  pocket
(4) T: Let’s read part 3 and find out what’s the blue bag like?
It’s big and light. It’s got four wheels.
(板书big and light four wheels)   (课件7 课件8 课件9)
操练所有单词: 猜口型,高低音,what’s missing?
3. Listen and finish the table.(课件10 )
4. Listen, repeat and read in roles.(课件11 )
5. Retell the text.(课件12 )
情感渗透: The best is the one that fits you !
Step 4 Practice.
1.Listen and say. (课件13 )
2.Describe the pictures.(课件14 )
3.Look and write, then say.(课件15 )
4. Look and say 看图组织句子表达  (课件16 )
教师给出范例,学生按照句型要求来组织表达自己的文具盒是什么样子的。
5.Read, look and choose.(课件17 )
1) The elephant is …..
2)  The bird is….
3)  The panda is …
4)  The panda is ___ and_____.
Step 5 Summary and homework.
评出本课中的冠军组,并予以祝贺!
