熟练掌握单词与短语: hungry, thirsty, drink(drank)
happy, sad, angry, tired, bored
熟练掌握重点语句: She was hungry/thirsty.
She drank some water.
Zara was happy.
使学生能够灵活运用happy, sad, hungry, thirsty等单词表达某人在一定情况下的感受。此外,一般过去时的运用也是本课的重点。
2. 情感态度目标
鼓励学生合作学习、协同工作的精神。

三、 教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Sing a song If you’re happy…
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. Present the words about feeling.
Ask the students to read some sentences using a happy, sad, bored, angry or tired voice. The other students guess the moods.
2. Use CD-ROM to show the passage. Answer the question: What was the weather like yesterday in this passage?
Ask the students to listen to the first part and fill in the blanks.
Yesterday, it was . Zara go out. She was . She helped her mum .
Then repeat this part after the CD-ROM.
3. Ask the students to listen to the second part and choose the correct answer.
