课时分析
在Let’s talk部分,Sam和妈妈一起到蛋糕店为自己的生日选蛋糕。学生学习到了表示选定这个的句式:This one, please.和如何询问物品数量的句式:How many...? 对话的中,店员问Sam需要几个蛋糕盘, 学生会接触到两会词汇plate。Sam回答需要五个。
Count and say活动中,展示了一个图片,图中有气球、蜡笔、铅笔、书、玩具熊、玩具鸭等物品,首先要让学生观察看到了什么, 然后再谈论看到了多少。在这个过程中,学生会自然地将数字与周围的物品联系起来,在应用、交流中掌握数字的表达及如何询问物品的数量。
在本课时中,学生必须先掌握数字的表达,才能进行对话。因此,在教学对话之前,需要先让学生了解一至五五个数字的表达,然后才能进行本课教学内容的学习。所以在教学中需要利用学生学习过的身体部位和文具等引出数字,让学生熟悉一至五数字的表达之后,再引出本课时的故事内容。

教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1. 播放歌曲:ABC song.
Teacher:Let’s sing the ABC song together.
设计意图:以歌曲来热身,可以为学生营造快乐的英语学习氛围,以字母歌来复习字母,为下一个环节的学习服务。
Step 2 Lead in
1.谈论字母的数量,引出数字类单词。
Teacher:(展示所有的字母)How many letters? Let’s count. One, two, ... There are twenty-six letters.
设计意图:由数一数字母的数量引出重点问句How many?并让学生对于数字有一个初步的感受。
2. 出示组成birthday的字母,谈论字母数量。
Teacher: How many letters in this word? One,two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. There are eight letters. What word is this? It’s birthday. Do you know birthday?(展示主情景图)This is a picture of a birthday party. How many children? One, two, three, four, five. (板书单词)
设计意图:通过数单词中的字母衔接上一环节,并引出本单元的主题线索:birthday。在数单词、数人物时一直重复数字单词,让学生对数字的字音有初步的感受。
Step 3 Presentation
1.展示教材图片,讨论其内容,引起阅读兴趣,引出课文。
Teacher: Whose birthday is this? Yes, it’s the little boy’s birthday. He is Sarah’s brother. He is Sam. Look, this is Sam and his mother. What are they doing? What do they want? Let’s listen to the tape and find out.
2. 播放课文内容,学生认真倾听, 尝试回答问题。
Teacher:What are they doing? They are buying ----- cake. Yes. They choose a cake with fruit. How many plates do they want? One? Two? How many? Yes, they want five. What is a plate? I will show you. (展示不同盘子的图片,让学生理解plate的含义)(板书单词) They are getting ready for the birthday party.
3. 再次播放课文内容,学生跟读。
Teacher: Please listen to the tape again, and follow it, please
设计意图:先观察图片内容,引起学生的阅读兴趣,再通过讨论、回答问题帮助学生理解课文内容。通过跟读,让学生掌握正确的读音,保证其能顺利地朗读课文。
Step 4 Practice
1. 自由读课文。
Teacher:Read the dialogue freely. If you have any questions, raise your hand and ask me.
2.分角色朗读课文。
Teacher: Let’s read the dialogue in roles. Who wants to be Sam? Who wants to be his mum? Who wants to be the cake girl? Let’s find the best group.
3. 表演课文。
Teacher: Let’s act the dialogue out. Who wants to try?
设计意图:自由读可以给学生练习朗读的时间,也便于教师针对个人进行帮助和辅导。分角色朗读保证学生能够正确、流利地朗读对话,并在分角色中感受对话的意思和情境。表演课文使学生脱离课本,帮助他们内化课文内容,
4. 顺序数单词。请六位学生到台前连续从一数到五,错误的回到座位上。
Teacher: Now let’s play a game. Let’s count from one to five. I need six students to come to the front. If you are wrong, please go back to your seat. Count from one to five one by one.
设计意图: 通过这个活动,让学生了解从一到五的数字顺序,使学生能够顺序从一数到五,熟练掌握一至五的读音。
5. 我来说你来做。老师说出数字,学生以手指来展示数字。
Teacher: Now I say you do. I say the number, you show me the number with correct fingers.
设计意图:这个活动来帮助学生将数字字音与字义联系起来,使学生将数字与具体数量直接联系起来,训练他们的数字英语思维能力。
6. 数一数。先让他们数一数教师展示的物品,再两人小组活动数一数自己的文具数量,最后数一数教材中图片里物品数量。
Teacher:Look,how many books? How many pencils?

Teacher: You did a good job. Look at the picture in the book. Let’s count. In pair ask and answer. How many bears? How many monkeys? ...
Teacher: Show me your dialogue, please.
设计意图:先由老师进行示范,让学生将学习到的数字知识运用到日常生活物品上来。再让学生两人小组活动,使他们不仅能够回答物品的数量,还能询问物品的数量。最后针对教材中图片进行自由问答,使他们能够正确使用本课的重点句式进行问答。
Step 5 Summary
1. 正序、倒序数数字。
Teacher:Let’s count together from one to five.
Teacher: Let’s count backward. From five to one.
设计意图:通过正序和倒序两种方式数数字,进一步复习数字的顺序,让学生总结重现本课的重点知识。
