Unit6《Planningfortheweekend》教学设计

一.  目标与要求


1.掌握课文出现的新语言点:


have school, plan for the weekend, at the concert,


2.掌握并会运用句型:


What are you going to do…? I’m going to …


3.能理解并能正确的使用电话用语Is that…?Yes, speaking。


4.能正确理解、掌握对话的内容,初步掌握制定计划的方法,并能有感


情的朗读对话。


5.培养学生对时态的敏感性,能进一步了解并感知一般将来时。


二. 教学重难点


1.重点:能听懂、会说、会读本课词汇,理解运用本课句型,能正确理解、掌握对话的内容并能流利的朗读对话。


2.难点:单词plan, concert的读音;有感情的朗读对话并适当拓展。


三. 教学准备:


多媒体课件,词组与句型卡片

五、 教学过程


Step1.Warm up


1. Exchange greetings.


2. Free talk


  What is your favourite subject?


  Do you have any hobbies? Etc.


Step2.Presentation(pre-reading)


1.课件出示四月份日历


a. What day is it today? What’s the date today?


b. What did you do last weekend? Did you have a good time?(课件显示上周末日期)


c. Because at the weekend we don’t have school, we are free, we can do many things we want to do. But where are you these days?(课件显示4月份工作日)These days we are busy, we have school.(教学have school)


d. What are you going to do this weekend?(课件出示本周末日期)


e. 根据学生的回答总结:…… is your plan for the weekend.(教学plans for the weekend)


f. Do want to know what I am going to do this weekend? You can ask me .


  Ss: What are you going to do this weekend?


  T: I am going to fly a kite with my friend in the park this Sunday.(课件出示)


So if we want to decide what to do this weekend, first we can make a plan. But how to make a plan?


根据课件上I am going to fly a kite with my daughter in the park this Sunday.帮助学生整理;

根据制作计划的基本步骤,把上面的句子在课件上呈现到下表中

2.课件出示女儿照片

a.跟学生介绍this is my daughter Kelly ,what is her plan for the weekend? You can make a telephone to her.(请一生与课件以电话形式对话,以此复习电话用语,并引出邀请别人参加活动的教学)

电话内容:A: Hello, is that Kelly?

B: Yes, speaking.

A: What are you going to do this weekend?

B: I am going to see a play with my Dad this Saturday .Would you like to join us?

A: Yes, I’d love to.?/Yes, I’d like to.

b.课件出示邀请他人参加活动,并同桌操练。

Step3 Explain the dialogue(while-reading)

一、指导学习引言

1.(课件出示Gao Shan照片) Gao Shan is answering a telephone call now? Who is calling him? What are they talking about? Now, Let’s watch a cartoon.(看第一遍)

2.Now I still want to know what day is it today, what’s the weather like today, Let’s listen again, and then fill in the blanks.(听第二遍,完成填空)

二、指导学习第一段对话

1.看卡通,感知对话,找出Gao Shan的周末计划

What is Gao Shan going to do on Saturday afternoon?

He is going to see a Beijing opera with his dad.

1.自读,然后完成连线,找出每个孩子周日的计划。

Read the dialogue and then find out “What are the children going to do on Sunday afternoon?”

结束:跟学生介绍一下我们的新学校,I hope you are going to visit our new school soon . Then I am going to show you around our school. Welcome to our school.
设计思路:本堂课的设计紧紧围绕how to make a plan这一话题展开,读前活动中,与学生一起探讨how to make a plan,在文本阅读中,通过文本信息的获取找出how do the children make their plans,再到读后活动中的make their own plans for May Day。课堂教学分三步进行,即走进文本——吮吸文本——走出文本,分层递进带领学生充分熟悉课文。在语篇教学环节,注重体现教师教学与学生学习的层次感,因此,我把语篇划分成三段来进行教学,在引言部分的教学,我就充分带领学生从文本中获取信息,在第一段对话教学中边指导,边放手让学生自己去文本中探究所要抓取的信息,在第二段的对话教学中,则完全放手让学生自己在文本阅读中获取重要的信息。力图在本语篇的阅读教学中培养学生实际应用英语的能力、提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。
