Unit 3 ( 7课时)
第一课时 A. Let’s learn
教学目标:
1、能力目标
(1) 能够用When is your birthday?进行提问,并学会用My birthday is in…进行回答。
(2) 能够理解Group work的内容并能依照要求完成游戏。
2、知识目标
(1) 能够听、说、读、写12个单词或单词缩写:Jan. Feb. Mar. Apr. May June July Aug. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec.
(2) 能够完成Let’s start的内容。
(3) 学会唱歌曲:When Is Your Birthday?
3、情感、战略、文化等有关目标
(1)情感态度:培养同学关心他人,孝敬长辈的积极情感和培养同学关注生活、热爱生活的情感。
(2)文化目标:了解中西文化节日,增进跨文化理解的能力,并让同学增进对本民族文化的理解,如十二生肖的学习,有利于增强民族自豪感。
教学重点:
(1)能够听、说、读、写12个单词或单词缩写:Jan. Feb. Mar. Apr. May June July Aug. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec.
(2)能够用When is your birthday?进行提问,并学会用My birthday is in…进行回答。
教学难点:
(1)12月份词汇的学习和记忆。
(2)能够用When is your birthday?进行提问,并学会用My birthday is in…进行回答。
教学准备:单词卡片、磁带、录音机。
教学过程:
一、 Warm-up
1、师生对话引出新话题,引出新授。
T: Hello!… What’s your favourite season?
S: I like …
T: Why do you like …?
S: Because …
T: Oh, I like spring. Because there are many flowers in spring and my birthday is in spring. Do you know birthday? When is your birthday? Is your birthday in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
板书:spring, summer, autumn, winter
T: Do you know which months make spring/summer/autumn/winter?
板书:在四季名词下面分别写上月份的数词,分别是3 4 5 ,6 7 8,9 10 11,12 1 2
2、Let’s start: 让同学听录音完成。
二、Presentation
1、新授单词:March(Mar.)
1> 引出新授: T: Do you know New Year’s Day? Yes, it means “新年”。And do you know Tree-planting Day? Yes, it’s “植树节”,and it’s in March. Yes or no?
2> 出示认读:示范读—跟读—抽读,强调跟much的发音区别和其缩写。
3>把词组滚动于句型中:
T: Who has a birthday in March?Please raise your hand. When is your birthday?
S:My birthday is in March.
2、新授单词:April(Apr. ) May June July August(Aug.)
1> 引出:四月用愚人节:Fool’s Day, 五月用五月牌餐巾纸引出,六月用儿童节:Childen’s Day, 七月用建党节Party Day, 八月用建军节Army day引出
2>出示认读: 示范读—跟读—开火车读
3>把词组滚动于句型中:
T: Who has a birthday in April/ May/ June /July/ August?
Please touch your nose/stand up/… When is your birthday?
S:My birthday is in …
抽个别同学回答
3、巩固以上6个月份:Mar. Apr. May, June, July, August。
1> 认读:齐读—抽读
2> Point and say
3> What’s missing游戏。
4、以同样方法教授:Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb.
三、Practice
1、 Hanging man游戏。
2、把12月份连成一首歌来唱:January, Februay, March, April, May and June, July, August, September, October, November, December。
a) 教师示范模仿伦敦桥的唱法唱。
b) 同学跟唱,教师打节拍。
c) 同学齐唱。
四、听录音。
1、听录音,完成Let’s start。
2、听Let’s learn, 跟读录音。

本堂课主要学习了12个月份的名称,对同学来说比较困难记住各个月份的名称,所以还要多加强练习。
第二课时 A. Let’s talk
教学目标:
1、知识目标:
1> 能够听、说、认读句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in February. Is your birthday in February, too? No, my birthday is in December…
2> 理解Let’s find out 的内容。
2、能力目标:
1> 能够在一定的情景中运用句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in…
2> 能够听懂、会唱歌曲:When Is Your Birthday?
3、情感等目标:
1> 引导同学注重合作,注重相互学习的好习惯。
2> 引导同学了解中西方共有的或特有的节日和风俗。
教学重点:
1、熟练掌握并能运用句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in …
2、能听、说、认读新句型:Is your birthday in …, too?
教学难点:
1、运用句型:Is your birthday in …, too?
2、掌握拓展局部When is Children’s Day?等句子的含义。
教学过程:
一、Warm-up
1、 Let’s sing: 12月份歌。
T:Now, first, let’s sing a song, January, February, March, April…Ready? Go!
2、 复习单词:12月份单词。
T: Good job! Now, let’s guess the world. Please look carefully!
课件显示(抽个人说—Together)
T: Now, let’s read the 12 months. (男女生上下声分开读)
3、 Let’s chant: When is your birthday?
T: Very good! Now, let’s chant.

二、Presentation
1、新授:When is your birthday? My birthday is in May.
1> 直接引出:T: My birthday is in May. When is your birthday? A?
S: My birthday is in …
T: Thank you. Sit down, please.
2> 认读:T:Now, read after me. 一句跟读—抽读,二句跟读—one by one
3> 操练:a. T: Hello! … When is your birthday?
S: My birthday is in … 师问生答
b. T: Who can ask me?
S: Hello! Miss Han. When is your birthday?
T: My birthday is in May. What about you?
S: My birthday is in …
师生互相问答:抽三个同学—抽一组one by one
4> Group work: T: Now, group work, ask one by one. When is your birthday? My birthday is in …What about you? Start!
5> Let’s chant: Birthday, Birthday, When is your birthday?
May, May, My birthday is in May.
a. 示范:You see, my birthday is in May. So I can make a chant like this: Birthday, Birthday, When is your birthday?
May, May, My birthday is in May.
b. 抽同学chant: Who can make a new chant of your birthday?
抽三个同学。
c. Pair work: Now, say the chant to your partner. Pair work, start!
d. 一齐说唱。
2、新授:Is your birthday in …? Yes, it is. /No, my birthday is in …
1> 游戏引出。
T:Now, let’s play a guessing game. I need one student to help me. Who wants to come here? You must throw the dices like this, then show them to others. We know 3 an 4 is 7, it means July is your birthday. And I will guess your birthday. If I’m right you say Yes together. If not, you say No together. Let’s start, when you are ready, say I’m ready!
S: I’m ready!
T: Is your birthday in …?
S: Yes/No.
2>认读句子:Is your birthday in …? Yes, it is. /No, my birthday is in …
示范读—跟读—链接问答
3>让四人小组扔色子玩:
T: Now, take out your dices. Play it in your group. Like this: First, thow them. Then hide them. Let others guess: Is your birthday in …? One by one! OK? Start!
3、Let’s talk: 课件显示
1> 显示人物头像:T: Who’s this girl/boy? When is Amy’s birthday/ Mike’s birthday/ Zhang Peng’s birthday? Let’s listen to the radio.
2> 同学带着问题听录音。
3> 看情况是否再听一遍,如举手的同学多,不再听,否则再听一遍。
T: If you can answer the three questions. Please

1> 看VCD。
2> 师示范编一首自身的生日歌并唱给同学听。
3> 男女生对歌竞赛。
6、拓展:When is National Day? It’s in October….
1> T: Who’s birthday is in October? I think you’re so lucky. Do you know why? Because our China’s birthday is in October, too. We call China’s Day…? Yes, National Day. 出示图片—出示节日字幕
2> T: When is National Day?
S: It’s in October.
3>以同样方法向同学介绍其他节日。
三、Homework:
四、教学后记:
拓展局部对同学启发比较大,但是要掌握这些节日的名称还是挺困难的,需要花一定的时间和精力。但是这个只对程度较好的同学做要求。
第三课时: A. Read and Write
教学目标:
1、能力目标:
1>能读懂对话,并能在情景中熟练运用。
3> 能理解Make a chart内容并按要求完成。
2、知识目标:
1>听、说、读、写四会句子:When is your birthday? It’s in May. My birthday is in June. Uncle Bill’s birthday is in June, too.
2>理解对话内容
3、情感、战略、文化等有关目标
1>引导同学注重合作,注重相互学习的好习惯。
2>引导同学了解中西方共有的或特有的节日和风俗。
教学重点:
掌握四会句子: When is your birthday? It’s in May. My birthday is in June. Uncle Bill’s
birthday is in June, too.要求同学能在相似的情景中正确使用。强调这些四会句子的规范书写。
教学难点:
四会句子的规范书写。
教学准备:词组卡片,磁带,录音机。
教学过程:
一、Warm-up
1>复习单词:January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
齐读—开火车读—强调缩写注意三点:
1> 开头字母大写。
2> 缩写点不能忘记。
3> 大写字母J的书写体只有一笔.
2>师生对话,复习所学句型。
T: Hello!…
S: Hello! Miss Yuan.
T: Excuse me. When is your birthday?
S: My birthday is in …What about you?
T: My birthday is in …
二、 Presentation and Practice
a) 让同学自身阅读课文并完成课后填空。
b) 一起阅读分析课文内容。
c) 板书四会句子: When is your birthday? It’s in May. My birthday is in September. Uncle Bill’s birthday is in June, too.
d) 校对填空答案: May, June, July。
e) 跟读课文录音。
f) 跟读教师。
g) 同学提问,教师答疑。
三、 Activity Book
a) 同学听录音完成A局部
b) 上交
四、 Make a family birthday chart of your own.
1>要求:仿照课文或P34制作一份你自家的生日表或节日表。
2>要求同学课后完成。
五、作业:
六、教学后记:
某几个月份的开头字母要大写,同学老是要忘记,如,September, October等等,需要不时提醒和加强。
