一、教材分析：
本套教材是为北京市海淀区以和其它经济与教育发达地区的同学们小学学习英语而编写的，同学们可以在学习过程中逐步获得多元智能的发展。本书由课程教材研究所英语课程教材研究开发中心、北京市海淀区教师进修学校和加拿大Lingo Media 国际集团联合编写。本节课是《新起点英语》一年级下册第十三单元的第一课，主要是几种常见图形的介绍。是本单元的起始课。本节课围绕《小学英语游戏教学》这个课题，形式多样的活动贯穿于课堂的始终，力图创设一个儿童化、趣味化、情景化的氛围。协助同学掌握重点、突破难点，在游戏、体验、实践、参与、合作与交流中习得语言和运用语言。
本套教材的教学目的是激发同学英语学习的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心；培养同学一定的语感和良好的语音、语调并初步打下良好的书写基础；培养良好的学习习惯；培养他们初步用英语进行简单日常交际的能力。同时，注重培养同学的观察、记忆、想象和发明能力。适当介绍中西方文化，培养同学爱国主义精神，增强世界意识，为同学的进一步学习奠定良好的基础。
二、教学目标：
(一) 利用图片引入4个基本形状和会说其名称单词circle，square，rectangle和triangle。
(二) 能够听懂并简单回答有关形状的名称、数量和颜色的问题。
(三)通过4种形状单词的学习，培养同学对身边图形的认识和观察能力。
三、教学重点：
(一)同学在初步感知、理解的基础上，逐步涉和圆形的、正方形
的、三角形的、长方形的实物。
(二)能够熟练说出有关4中图形的chant。
四、教学准备：教学挂图、录音磁带、单词卡片、学习用具、课堂学
习评价图。
五、教学过程：
(一)Step 1: Warm up
1、Greeting
Good morning , boys and girls.

T: Can you find circle in our classroom?
