【使用说明及学法指导】
    做好课堂笔记：英语知识很零碎，要把课堂上所学的知识全部准确无误的记在脑子里是很困难的。俗话说“好记心不如烂笔头”，将本课所学的重难点知识做好笔记尤为重要。做笔记时，巧用双色笔，注汉语意思，带例句
【预习案】
一、知识链接：
1..hundred, thousand, million, billion前出现具体数字时,用单数形式，不加s .  two hundred / three thousand/four million /five billion      e.g. There are 1.3 billion people in China.
        hundred, thousand, million, billion表示一个模糊的概念时用复数形式并常与of 连用。
        eg. hundreds of (数百的…..)/thousands of (数千的……)/millions of (数百万的…..)/
billions of (数十亿的……)
2.What…for?在英语中意思是固定句式，用来提问目的，译为“…是用来干什么的？”其中 for表示目的、用途。此时它和What do /does…do？表达的意思相同。 What…for?也表示原因，相当于why…?

探究点1.above 在……的上面，反义词是 below 在……的下面。

注意:above和below可以用于表示度数或海拔，地上面，地下面  

比较：on, above, over

①on 指“在……上面”，______和_______接触；There is a book on the desk.

②above 指“在……斜上方”，“高于”某物,不一定_______.而below 与above相对,指“在……斜下方”，“低于”某物，不一定垂直,请翻译句型：There is a map above the desk____________

③over 指“在……正上方”，强调垂直/ 跨越关系，不接触，There is a bridge over the river.

under与over相反，指“在……正下方” , 强调垂直关系，不接触。.（试翻译此句）There are some girls under the tree ____________________________
