Step one : Greeting
T : Are you ready for class?
S : Yes .
T: Morning ,everyone.
S : Morning ,Ms Wang.
T : How are you today?
S: I’m fine .what about you ?
T: Very well ,thanks .Sit down, please .
S: Thank you .
T: You are welcome.
Step Two: Revision
复习数字
T: Now,let us rivi the numbers together. Look at this one, how many?
(教师给出几张上面写着不同数字的A4纸并让学生说出数字,先全班后个别学生读)
S1: Five
T : Good/ right /very good
S2: Six
……
T: Now Let’s count together.
T and Ss : One , two ,three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine .
Step Three: New course
T: Today, we are going to lean something about birthday.
(教师板出今天的课题,并打开PPT)
T: what’s birthday mean?
(利用PPT进行新单词的讲授:happy birthday)
T : Today is my birthday ,what should you say to me ?
S: Happy birthday ,Ms li .
T: Thank you! Today is also Jinzhong’s birthday .
S: Happy birthday , Billy.
T: Now let’s have look .What’s this? ( PPT)
T and Ss :It’s a pencil
T: What’s this?
T and Ss : It’s a pen.
T: What’s this? ( show them a “present” which is a new word for them )
S: It’s a….
T It’s a present .Now follow me “present” ( show them the PPTof present)
S: “present” “ p-r-e-s-e-n-t” “present”
( practice the word with different methods in case the students feel bored)

S: It’s a cake.
T: Yes, it’s a cake . It’s a birthday cake. Now follow me
(教师一边带读新单词一边板书,可全班读,也可分组读或是个别同学读,注意)
纠正学生的发音)
T: I have a present for Jinzhong .
Jinzhong, Here’s your present.
Jinzhong: Thank you.
T: I have a present for Anna ,too.(老师走向Anna)
T: happy birthday!Here’s your present.
Anna: Thank you.
( write “here’s your present” on the blackboard. Explain the meaning of the sentence)
( Give them a period of time to practice with their partners)

T:Open your books,today is Sam’s birthday, so we say
S: Hello, Sam . Happy birthday!
T: Yes, you are both right. Let’s say it together
