本模块主题是“school”通过介绍Amy的学校生活引出了关于时间的话题。呈现新知句型What time does school start?It starts…以及what time do you get up?I get up…通过创设情境让学生通过图片游戏等掌握所学内容。本课内容与学生的学习生活息息相关，有利于培养他们在真实的语境中运用英语的能力。
学情分析
五年级的学生在三年级已学过如何用英语询问时间what’s the time?It’s…以及谈论，有一定的基础，通过旧知引出新知，What time does school start?这一课有一定的难度。因此教师应注重由浅入深，反复鼓励及引导学生，让学生愉快自信的沉浸在课堂教学中，从而达到教学的目的。
教学目标
   1掌握基本词汇;exercise playgroud before skip exercise 2,掌握基本句型What time does school start?及其问答3，（二）能力目标
在实际生活中能口头运用“What time …”这类语句询问事情发生的时间，并做出回答。
（三）情感目标
帮助学生了解中西方学校生活的差异，热爱自己的学校生活。

教学反思
在本课中，我首先通过唱歌曲，猜谜引起学生的注意，调动他们的积极性。通过已学过的旧知引出新知接着通过创设贴近学生生活的语言环境What time does school start?并借助肢体语言及图片让学生如身临其境，让学生体验学习的快乐积极参与到课堂英语教学中来
本课中教师已做到了由浅入深，层层递进
本课的不足之处；教师设计的内容不够严谨，操练程度不多，学生掌握起来比较凌乱。
