Teaching Procedure:
Step1. Lead in by discussing the following question: what do you need if you want to make your dream come true.
Discuss in groups for five minutes. Then let some students present their reports in front of the class.
Step2. Listen to the tape for two times. At the same time, let them sing after it in low voice.
Step3. Read the text as a poem. Pay attention to the rhythms of it.        Step4. 知识点：do well in与do well on有什么用法上的区别？
两者都有表示,擅长...的意思
区别在于+后面的是动词还是名词
例如:
I do well in playing computer games.
I do well on comput.
一般情况下
in+doing on+名词
Step5. Homework
1.Finish off the exercises in the activity book.
2.Go on the next reading in the student book.
Summary:
Songs are main part in this book. Learning to sing is important. It can improve the students’ interests of learning English. It can also let the students know more about the foreign cultures. Give them chances to know about the features of the English songs. Encourage them to practice more after class.
