标题: 整合阅读材料，培养阅读技能 -新目标英语九年级教材阅读整合
学生阅读能力能较好地反映学生掌握语言的深度和广度，是构成英语实际交际能力的重要组成部分。近年来的河南中考试题中，与阅读相关的考查中，阅读理解分值占总分值的33.3%，完形填空和词语运用占总分值的16.7%。阅读教学是英语教学的重中之重。传统的阅读教学主要是讲解课文中的词句，偏重于语言知识的学习，忽略学生阅读技能的培养。常有学生这样说，文章从头到尾都能基本看懂，就是题目做不对，这就是没有通过阅读进行思考、分析、判断，不能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息，是缺乏阅读策略指导训练的结果。阅读教学是为完成从“知识向能力过渡”进行转化的重要环节，要有针对性地训练阅读技能。这些技能包括：预测内容、抓住主题大意、捕捉特定细节，根据上下文猜测意义，辨认语段过渡等。教材中不同的文本适合培养学生不同的阅读技能，我们很有必要整合阅读文本，提供训练性题目，有目的、有重点地引导学生使用阅读技能，努力提高学生的阅读能力。现结合《英语课程标准》对英语阅读五级技能的要求（1．能根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义；2．能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系；3．能找出文章中的主题，理解故事的情节，预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局；4．能读懂常见体裁的阅读材料；5．能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息；6．能利用字典等工具书进行学习；7．课外阅读量应累计达到15万词以上），对新目标九年级教材的阅读材料加以整合:

一．    阅读前:

适合引导学生借助文章的标题，插图，图表，词汇等，鼓励学生预测所要阅读的文章主题和内容，激活学生的背景知识，产生阅读期待的的阅读文章有：

1.适合运用skimming，培养学生快速阅读在文章或段落首句寻找文章或段落主题句概括文章或段落大意的阅读文章:

《英语课程标准》五级阅读技能要求能找出文章中的主题，理解故事的情节，预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局；新目标九年级（教材Unit 12 Section B Reading的阅读策略指导和2b任务设计了该项技能专项训练:Careful reading the first sentence in each paragraph can activate your own knowledge of the topic and help you guess what the whole text is about）。教材中适合培养学生该项技能的阅读文章有：

教材中的很多语篇设计了细读的专项训练。教师可以借助教材每单元的阅读文章并借助具体细节阅读任务，,让学生运用scanning和skipping阅读策略，从简单的文章中找出所需特定细节信息的阅读材料：

3．《英语课程标准》五级阅读技能要求学生能够根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义；教师可在每单元的阅读任务中有意识地设计此类阅读任务，训练学生根据上下文、构词法推断、理解生词的含义的能力。教材Unit 4 Section B He studies harder than he used to的阅读策略指导(Using the sentence context may help you guess and learn the meanings of new words and phrases)和2d任务设计了让学生根据上下文猜测词意的专项训练。

4．《英语课程标准》五级阅读技能要求学生能够能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系，教师可在每单元的阅读任务中有意识地设计此类阅读任务，训练学生理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系。教材Unit 2 Section A Full moon, full feelings的3b阅读任务Read the passage again. Put the events in the correct order ; Unit 4 Section B He studies harder than he used to. 的2b任务：Read the passage and put the sentences (A-D)in the correct places.; Unit11 Section B The winning team的2b阅读任务设计了训练学生理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系的专项训练。

三、阅读后：

2.每单元的阅读任务完成后，可让学生针对阅读话题进行相应的写作，阅读和写作很好地结合起来。

备注：1.Skimming (浏览式阅读)

特点：

1）以极快速度阅读文章，寻找事实信息及部分阐述信息。

2）可以跳过某些内容。

3）理解水平可以稍低。

4）根据文章难度适时调整速度。

技巧：

1）利用印刷细节（typographical details）: 标题、副标题、黑体词、斜体词。

2）以200-250wpm的速度阅读文章开头的1-2段，抓住文章大意，作者语气、文章风格。

3）       细读段落主题句。

4）       细心读最后一段，因为最后一段通常是文章的总结。

5）       注意转折词和序列词。

                                                                                          i.  转折词：however, but, while, whereas

                                                                                       ii.  序列词：firstly, secondly

2.Scanning （查阅式阅读）与浏览式阅读的不同之处，

1）浏览式阅读：读者对材料一无所知，目的是为了弄清楚文章的主旨大意。

2）查阅式阅读：读者对材料有所了解，带着问题或者寻找的信息进行快速阅读，目的是为了找到该信息。

技巧：

1)利用材料的编排形式。

–    资料多半是按字母顺序排列的。如词典、索引、邮政编码簿、电话号码簿以及其它参考资料簿等。当然并非所有资料都是按字母顺序排列的。

–    例如，电视节目是按日期和时间排列的。历史资料是按年代排列的，报纸上的体育版面是按比赛类别(足球、排球、网球)排列等等。不管资料来源怎样，它都是按照某种逻辑方法排列的。例如，要知道某事是何时发生的，要查日期;某事是谁做的，要查人名等。

2)利用章节标题和说明。

–       首先看看文章标题或章节标题，确定文章是否包含自己所需要的材料，或者哪一部分包含哪些材料，这样可以直接翻到那个部分，进行寻找。

3)抓提示词。

–       读者找到包含所需信息的章节，准备寻读。这时，要留心与那个具体信息有关的提示词。例如，在报纸体育运动版上寻找某田径运动员的某项运动成绩，他的国名是提示词。在百科全书上寻找纽约市的人名，翻到New York City那一章后，population， census， inhabitants 等词就是提示词，找到提示词，就可以采用一般阅读速度，获得所需要的信息。

3.Skipping(跳跃式阅读)

利用跳跃式(skipping)的阅读方法，了解文章大意。

跳跃式阅读与浏览式阅读和查阅式阅读在省略阅读内容上有所不同。浏览式阅读和查阅式阅读着重文章的主题和某些特点细节，而跳跃式阅读旨在掌握文章的全貌，但又不需要将文章中的所有词句全部映入眼帘。

利用跳跃式阅读主要是抓文章中每个句子的主干部分，即表达重点信息的主语、谓语、宾语等成分，而其他修饰、限定、补充、说明的部分可以跳过去不读，这种阅读方法并不影响读者对文章主题思想和重要细节及信息的掌握。
