Module 9 What happened to your head?
The first period: (Dec.12th)
Teaching points: 1 Review: buy—bought    go—went
   is—was    are—were
2 New words: happen—happened put—put fall off—fell off  fallon—fellon  thirsty hungry watermelon
3 Sentences:  What happened to you?
  Sam fell off his bike.Module9
I fell on the watermelon.
Teaching task: 1. Students could remember these verbs and their past tense.
2. Students could use these words make sentences.
Step 1: Warming-up
           Play a game to review: T: go   Ss: went
         T: buy Ss: bought
         T: see   Ss: saw
Step 2: Presentation
1)  T tell a story about a accident.(show the PPT and the cards)In summer , my friends went for a bike ride, They were thirty and hungry, so they bought a watermelon. Do you know? What happened? They put the watermelon on his bike. Then they fell off（跌落） his bike. And they fell on（摔到） the watermelon.
2)  T teach Ss the new words. And find them on the book.
3)  Tell the story again and invite some Ss to mime the actions.
Step 3: Listen and read
  1) Listen to the cassette and point.
2) Listen and repeat .
Step5 EH: 1) M8U1 listen and read.
2）Tell one’s experience.
  
The second period: (Dec.13th)
Teachingpoints: 1 Review:happen—happened  put—put fall off—fell off fall on—fell on   thirsty   hungry   watermelon
2 Students could tell an experience about themselves.
Teaching task: 1）Students could use these sentences fluently.
          2）Students could read the text well and answer teacher’s questions.
Step1 Warming –up
Sing a song: We had a lovely day.
Review: happen—happened put—put fall off—fell off
fall on—fell on  thirsty   hungry  watermelon
Step2 Presentation
1)Let Ss do actions about “ thirsty” “hungry” “fall off” “ fall on” “ fall over” then T ask and answer:
T: What happened ?
Ss: He was thirsty. He was hungry. He fell on the watermelonHe fell off his bike. He fell over.
2)Listen and repeat the text again and answer questions:
a What did Daming and Sam do yesterday?
b Were they hungry and thirsty?
c What did Sam put the watermelon?
d Then what happened to Sam and Daming?
Step 3 Practice
Ss try to tell their experience.
Home work:
1.     Recite the new words.
2.     Read the text.

Period three: (Dec.14th )
Teaching points: 1 Review:

2 New words: cut --- cut  hurt---hurt bump---bumped
3 Sentences:

I bumped my head. I hurt my knee. I cut my finger.

       3. Students could use these words in their daily life.

Period Four (Dec.15th )
Teaching points:
1 Review: cut --- cut  hurt---hurt bump---bumped
2 Learn a poem.
New words: Be careful  
Don’t bump into those trees.
Don’t cut your little hand.
Teaching task:   
1）Students could use these sentences fluently.
          2）Students could read the text well and answer teacher’s questions.

1 T teach the chant .
2 T teach the chant and do actions.
3 Ss say the chant.
Step3  English Game
Do actions and ask.
S1: Did you fall off your bike? S2: No, I didn’t.
S1: Did you fall over? S2: Yes, I did.
Step4 Dictation

Homework:
1. Students could say the poem.
2. Students recite new words.

Review Lesson from Module9---Module7
Teacher's thinking:
1. Ss could talk about their holiday by using past tense. Practicing writing about students' holiday are important recently.
2.Ragular revision are nessisary for students, and some exercises are need for students, too.
