很多研究表明,如果语篇涉及读者熟悉的主题,他们就能顺利理解文章中的信息,相反,如果不熟悉语篇主题,就会出现障碍。因此,应在学生阅读前,运用学生已有的知识结构,为学生创造足够多的机会朗读语篇的相关内容,使学生对即将要阅读的内容有一定的了解,为获得更好的阅读效果作铺垫。曾听过一位老师的一节语篇阅读课,教学内容为pep book 6 recycle 1 read and answer.在引导学生阅读前,老师让学生与自己一起合作写有关春、夏、秋、冬的小诗。如: spring, spring. spring is green. spring is colourful. i can fly kites in spring. i can go hiking in spring. spring, spring. i love you spring. summer, summer. summer is red. summer is hot. i can swim in summer. i can eat ice cream in summer. summer, summer. i love you summer. etc.这样让学生在优美的音乐中朗读,感受小诗的内容与境界,为文章春、夏、秋、冬等段落的阅读做好坚实的铺垫。
如在教学过程中为了引导学生理解词组:help the tourists find their way.我先通过一段话让学生利用语境猜一猜tourists的含义,然后通过课件向他们展示这两位游客迷路的场景和旅游团所在位置的平面图,让学生在帮助游客的过程中掌握这词组的意义和助人的乐趣。
4. 感知——理解——运用
英语阅读是非常复杂的心理认知活动,是读者通过感知书面语言材料,进而对其进行编码重组、解析破译,再现作者提供的完整信息的过程。感知是读者对书面材料的识别和辨认,其意义在于获得基本信息,为对语言材料的编码重组进行硬件上的准备,这是阅读中的信息交换过程。理解则需要读者运用已有的知识和经验,对所感知的书面语言材料的基本信息进行编码,然后重组,解析破译出作者所表达的思想,全面准确地把握阅读材料的信息,这是一个复杂的信息处理过程,也是读者得以顺利有效地进行阅读的关键环节。如在教学中我向学生出示了他们熟悉的周杰伦,不熟悉的我和会计,以及相应的选项,让学生在此基础上根据已有的经验发表自己的想法:i think zhou jielun is a singer. he goes to work by car.等等。最后,我还设计了一个引导学生运用的环节,让他们扮演单位的负责人,根据读取应聘人员的信息来为所属单位选择合适的人员。这样,可以让学生进行有目的性的阅读,进一步体现阅读的意义。
