1)能够运用功能句谈论正在做一件事的同时发生另一件事情,例如Daming is playing the trumpet , but the phone is ringing .
2)能借助图片读懂故事并简单的仿写故事内容。
3)能正确的朗读课文

学生能够有兴趣的读英语用英语,乐于与他人合作,并积极主动地参与课堂学习。
二、教学重点
运用功能句谈论正在做一件事情时候另一件事情同时发生,Daming is playing the trumpet , but the phone is ringing .

能根据故事内容进行作文仿写

【教学过程】:
Step I. warm up
1. greetings .
T : hello , children . Nice to meet you .Are you happy today ?
   What’s your name ? How old are you ? When is your birthday ?
师生自由交谈并将全班分成四大组,组名分别为:apple , orange , watermelon , banana
Step II  Pre-reading
1. 出示大明头像
T : Who is he ? Ss : He is Daming .
T : let’s say hello to Daming . Daming is very happy today .because today is Daming’s birthday . let’s say “ happy birthday” to Daming . Can you sing the “ happy birthday” song to Daming .
师生交谈进入主题并齐唱英文歌曲
2 . 课件出示相关的生日图片,并简单介绍图片内容。
Look and say
Can you say something about the pictures?
  师生共同观察谈论图片,并板书课题“Daming is having a birthday party .”
Step III . while-reading .
1. read and say “yes ” or “no”.
(1)Daming is having a birthday party .
(2) Daming is playing the guitar .
(3) Some friends and Simon’s cat come to Daming’s birthday party .
(4) They are very happy .
2 . Read Paragraph 1
Ss read paragraph 1 then answer questions .
1)What is Daming doing ?
2)Does Daming stop playing the trumpet ?
3)Why?
