2 通过Listen and say 的情景对话,帮助学生学习本单元的核心句型This is…和He is/ She is…
Pre-task preparations
1.播放Listen and enjoy的儿歌,让学生听并跟唱,活跃课堂气氛。
2.用多媒体或挂图呈现分别代表高、矮、胖、瘦这四种体形的典型人物形象,让学生通过图片直观地感受tall,short,fat和thin这四个形容词的意思。
While-task procedures
1.分别呈现Joe和Peter的图片,但是遮住人物的 脸,让学生猜猜照片中的人是谁。通过这一活动引出一对反义词fat和thin,然后出示更多不同体形的人物图片,让学生说说谁瘦谁胖。

T: No, he isn't Peter.
S2: Joe.

2.邀请一高一矮两个学生背靠背站在前面,量 一量他们的身高并将数字写在黑板上,通过
介绍引出一对反义词tall和short。
请两个女生或两个男生(一高一矮)上前来背靠背站着,让他们用I'm…She's/He's…句型
说一说身高情况。
T: Tell me who is tall and who is short.
S1: I'm tall. (point to S2) She's short.
S2: I'm short. (point to Sl) She's tall.
3. 逐一呈现教材的主线人物(Peter, Kitty, Joe和 Alice),通过问答学习本单元的新句型This is…(name)和He's/She's…。
T: (point to Peter) Look! Who is he? Is he Peter?
Ss: Yes.
T: Right. This is Peter. Follow me, class. This
is Peter. He's thin.
Ss: This is Peter. He's thin.

播放Listen and say的动画或录音,让学生听并跟读。然后请几个学生表演对话。
4.教师先呈现挂图中几个人物的图片,用句型 This is…He's/She's…描述他们的体形特征。
然后让学生拿着各自朋友的照片两人一组互 相介绍。

Post-task activities
1.教师先示范用一首儿歌操练Look and learn任意一对反义词( tall and short或者fat/thin),然后
让学生模仿创编儿歌。
