Module 1
  Unit 1 The Great Wall
学习任务:These postcards are great! It’s a picture of the Great Wall.
功    能:讲述关于某个地方或某事物的情况
运用任务:每个学生带一件比较容易描述的东西或图片到学校来,在同学之间进行描述和询问;
教学程序:

学习单词Postcard 和The Great Wall
3.        课文教学
        请学生翻开书,放录音,学生边听边看书,同时勾出生词.然后老师教授生词,请学生模仿跟读.分组读后,再个别读,老师纠正发音.
        再听录音,学生听后回答问题:明信片上画的是哪里?关于长城\纽约和北京他们谈了什么?
        学生回答后,再放一遍录音,学生模仿跟读,
        把学生分成两组,一组学生扮演Daming,一组学生扮演Simon,表演对话.
4.        学生掌握对话后,全班一起完成AB 练习1请学生们认真吸,然后口头回答并书写问题,最后全班一起核对答案.
5.        完成任务
全班同学完成AB练习3.学生认真看图和示范,先让学生口头回答,然后再书写,鼓励学生说出自己不同的想法,最后老师可以给全班核对答案.

Module 1
Unit 2 New York is in the east of America.
学习任务:
Where is New York? It’s here, in the east.
功    能:讲述某个地方的地理位置和相关的基本信息.
运用任务:两人合作,描述各省所在的方位,
教学程序:
1.        热身复习
        老师出示一张中国地图并进行介绍:This is a map of China. I’m from Beijing. It’s in the north of China.然后向学生提问:Where are you from/ Where is your uncle from? Where is your pen friend from?
2.        任务呈现与课文导入
        老师出示Simon的图片,向学生提问:Who is he? 学生回答:He’s Simon. He’s Daming’s cousin.再问:Where is he from?学生回答:He’s from New York, America.
        出示美国地图并向学生提问:This is a map of America. Can you find New York?引导学生在地图上找到纽约的位置.
3.        课文教学
        在地图上标注east, south, west, north,帮助学生复习这些单词,并注意纠正他们的发音.老师领读后,根据口令做动作,例如:
Please turn to north. Please turn to South. Please turn to east Please turn to west.
        老师放录音,学生边听边看SB2Unit 2活动1的地图,把录音中提到的美国城市和国家名称写在黑板上.再放录音,请学生跟读.

Sb Unit2活动4.出示美国国旗,请学生边听边看,熟悉韵诗的内容.然后向学生讲解他们不理解的内容,如单词Tennessee,再放录音,学生跟读.掌握Chant后,可以全班一起完成AB Unit2练习3.再听录音,根据录音判断练习中陈述是否正确.
课后作业:  SB Unit2活动3听录音模仿语音语调,特别注意句子中的重音部分.

        老师放录音,学生跟读课文.请学生书中的图片,描述图中有什么并用There is和There are说句子 .

There are lot of bicycles in China. There is a very famous river.
运用任务:
1.        听录音给明信片编号;
2.        写一张明信片介绍纽约街头的景物;
3.        挑选一张明信片,口头讲述并写出对该景物的介绍.
教学程序:
1.        热身复习:报告,介绍自己去过的风景名胜,城市. 回忆Daming与Simon的对话.
2.        任务呈现与课文导入
        学生听SB Unit 2活动3的录音,并跟读,注意重读的地方,
        让个别学生读对话,老师纠正学生的语音和语调.
        问学生想不想知道用英语介绍这些中国的景点,以此引出课文.
3.        课文教学:
        放录音, 学生听,看他们能听到哪些信息.
        再放一遍录音,学生听录音并把六张明信片按播放顺序排列,
        请学生跟读,然后向同桌介绍其中的一张明信片,
        完成SB Unit2 unit 5.
4.        任务完成

1.        热身复习
        播放领读带中的歌曲录音,全班学生一起复习Moudle2中关于长城的歌曲.然后谈论今天关于Hobby的主题,例如:
T: What’s your favourite sport/food? Ss: My favorite sport/food is… T: Do you like…? Ss: Yes, I do./No, I don’t . I like…
2.        任务呈现与课文导入
        老师出示一张邮票,说: I like stamps very much. I collect them. Look, this is a Chinese stamp. It’s very beautiful. Do you like these stamps? These stamps are from Canada. I like them very much. Collecting stamps is my hobby.
        在今天的课文中,Daming和Simom谈论起了Simon的一项兴趣爱好.听过他的介绍后,大家也要介绍自己的爱好.
3.        课文教学
        放录音,听完后提问:What’s Simon’s hobby?
        老师放第二遍录音,学生边听边看书,同时用笔勾出课文中的生词,根据上下文猜猜生词的意思.学习新单词,老师领读,再请学生跟读.集体读和个别读,纠正读音错误.

学习任务:
Have you got any dolls from Japan?

功    能: 自由谈论自己的爱好或询问他人的爱好.

教学程序:
warmer :
        Tell the students that you are going to mime some things that you like doing and they have to tell you what it is.
Examples : T(mimes swimming). Ss: swimming!
         T(mimes reading) .   Ss: Reading!
        Repeat this activety by inviting volunteers to come up to the front of the class and mime some actions while the class guesses.
        Then, introduce the target language in the following way
Example: T: (mimes swimming, then writes on board I like swimming.) Ss: I like swimming.
        Repeat thes exercises with other activities.
1.        look ,listen and point.
        Get four large pieces of paper.
        Tell the students to close their books.
        Draw the following thimgs on the paper:1 bike, 3 books, 2 dolls and 2 kites.
        Place the drawings on the wall around the class, tell the student that you are going to call out the names of the objects and the students have to point at them.
        Now tell the students that you are going to play the tape and they have to listen.
2.        listen and repeat. Pay attention to the stress.
        Tell the students to close their books. Then plsy the recording, the students have to follow you.
3.        listen and say, then chant.
        Get the students to do different mimes for each of the activities.
        Listen to the chant, then repeat it .
4.        Game: ask and answer.
        Before starting the game, go though all the pimtures with the students to make sure that they know the bocabulary.
        Tell the students to number the pictures from left to right ‘1—15’.

5. practice: choose the correct answer.

Unit one Happy Thanksgiving
学习任务:
Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.
We always have a special meal. We say "thank-you" for our food, family and friends.
功    能: 谈论和描述感恩节等西方节日
教学程序:
1.        warmer
●        take five objects that belong to you and put them on the table.
●        The students must see clearly that they are your things.
●        Now pick up one of the things and introduce it using "my".
Example T: this is my book. Ask the students to put five objects that belong activity with them. Then practice  with "our ".
2.        listen, point and find "I, me, my, we, our".
●        Focus on the pictures first.
●        Encourage the students to tell you what they can see in the pictures, e,g, flag, calendar, dinner, Daming, ect.
●        Play the first part of the recording and pause the tape.
●        Ask the students questions to check their comprension.
Examples
T: what day are simon and daming talking about?
Ss: flay Day.
T: what do people do on Flay  Day?
Ss : they carry flags. They sing songs.
●        Repeat this with the second part of the conversation.
●        Then, ask the students to underline examples of the words "I, me, we " and 'our' in their Student's Books.
3.        Talk about Christmas.
●        Get 3 pieces of paper and write the words on it ." Christmas, thankgiving and Flag Day."
●Place the three festivals on the walls around the class. Now explain to hte students that you are going to call out activities that you do in different festivals and the students have to point to the correct festival.
Examples
T: You can see Christmas trees.
Ss: (point to hte 'Christmas')
T: People say 'thank-you' for all the good things that they have.
Ss: (Point to the ' Thanksgiving').

Warmer
•Get the students to focus on the four pictures.
•Point to the different pictures and say the name of the festival. Ask the studints to repeat after you.
•Now point ot the pictures but don't say the name of the festival. Encourage the students to tell yopu.
•Next,tell them that you are going to play a game. You are going to mime an activety that takes place in the festival and they have to guess what festival it is .
1. Look, listen and find.
•write the names of the four festivals on the board. Then ,tell the students that you are going to play the tape. If they hear the name of a festival ion thje Student's Book, they should shout'stop!'
•then ,write the name of the festival up on the board.
•Now play the tape a second time and thes time, get them to point at the correct festival as they listen.
2. Choose a festival. Ask and guess.
•Invite  a volunteer to come to the front of the class ot mime His/her favourite festival.
•Then ,ask the rest of the class to guess the festival by conducting the following role-play.
Example
Volunteer(mimes looking at the moon)
Class: What's your favourite festival?
Volunteer:Guess! You can see the moon.
Class: It's the Mid-Autumn Festival!
•Divide the class into groups of four. One student mimes the action and the rest of the group guess the festival, using the role-play above as a model,.
3. Listen and repeat. Pay attention to the stress.
Play the sentences to the students and ask them to 'sing' the stress in the sentence using 'da'aand 'DA'
Play the recording again and ask the students to first say the sentence and then 'sing' the stress.
4. Listen and say, then chant.
•This activity has lot s of claping in it which makes it more memorable and active.

•For this chant, git the students to work in pairs and face each other .
Ask them to perform the following actions when they chant the verses.
5.Homework: listen to the chant.
                       then copy the word of this module.

        Tell the students that you are going to mime an action and they have to guess which action it is.

        ] Then, conduct the following role-play with the students.
Example
T (write the following on the board: ‘jump/ I can jump.’)
Ss: (stand up and jump on the spot) I can jump.
        Repeat this with other words on the board.
        Then, introduce the question form of ‘ can ‘by asking volunteers some questions.
Example
T: (points to the word ‘jump’) can you jump?
S: (jump up and down) I can jump.
        Vary the activity above by inviting pairs of students to conduct similar role-plays.

        Ask the students to close their books.

        Tell the students that you are going to play the recording and they have to tell you the names of the countries mentioned in the recording.
        Next, ask the students to read aloud the dialogue in the Student’s Book.

        Revise ‘can’ and ‘ can’t’ with the students .
        Encourage the students to srggest fun activities and write them on the board, e.g.
Play computer games    dance    swim    sing    ice-skate    roller-skate
        Then, inbite bolunteers to come up to the front of the class and encourage the class to ask the bolunteers questions.
Examples
Class: Czn you ice-skate?
Volunteer1: No, I can’t.
Class: Can you dance?
Volunteer2: Yes, I can.
二、look, listen and find.
        Ask the students to focus on the four pictures and the information about them.
        Explain that you are going to call out infoumation about the different people and the students have ot tell you whom you are talking about.
Example
T: he is from Australia.
Ss: Is it Mike?
T: Yes!
T: she is 12.
Ss: Is it Yao Tingting?
T: No, try again!
Ss: Is it Linda?
T: Correct!
三、listen and say, then sing.
        Divide the class into groups of three.
        Assign one group as ‘speak’, one as  ‘write’ and one as ‘sing’.
        Get each group to draw a picture to represent their verb.
        Now, ask them to sing the song, each group sings their part of the song and holds up their picture.
四、作业:Practise the dialogue in pairs.
          Copy the words.

Unit 1 A postcard from New York.
学习任务:
Daming has got a Chinese kite and we fly it in the park.
I’ve got some chopsticks, but they are difficult.
功    能: 通过不同国家的人们使用的物品进行文化对比,
         复习 ‘have got’的用法.
教学过程:
一.        Warmer
        Take fine objects that belong to you and put them on the table.
        The students must see clearly that they are your things.
        Now pick up one of the things and introduce it using ‘have got’
E.g.: T: (pick up a book) Have got a book.
        Repeat this activity with the rest of the objects.
        Practice “ I have got…. and I’ve got…”
二.        Listen, point and find ‘have got’.
        Write on the board
Daming has got…    Laura has got….
        Ask the students to close their student’s books.
        Before they listen, ask them to guess what objects Laura and Daming have got.
        Then, play the recording and ask the students to listen and check if their guesses are correct.
三.        Listen and say.
        After practicing the phrases, encourage the students to ask each other question.
        Do an example by asking a student.
Examples
T: Have you got a kite?
S1: No, I haven’t.
T: Have you got a pair of chopsticks?
S2: Yes, I have.
        Then, divide the class into pairs and ask them to ask each other question.
四.        Make sentences from the boxes, using ‘and’ or ‘but’.
        Use the activities in the vocabulary Extension List from Module 5 to play a game.
        Write the words from the Vocabulary list on the board

        Tell the students that they have to point at two activities, say the verbs and then make a sentence with ‘and’ and ‘but’.

        Ask the students to close their student’s Books.
        Then play the recording and ask the students to listen and check if their guesses are correct.

        After practicing the phrases, encourage the students to ask each other question.
        Do an example by asking a student.

功能:用一般现在时描述动物及其习性等
教学程序
1.        Warmer
        Tell the students to get ready tow pieces of paper.
        On one piece of paper, ask them to draw a happy face and on the other piece of paper, ask the to draw a sad face.
        Now tell them that you are going to call out the names of things and thy have to decide if they like or don’t like them, by holing up the sad face they should say’ i don’t like it!’
        Example :T: (points to a student)football!
           S1: holds up the sad face0i don’t like it!
           T(point to another student) Snakes!
           S2(holds up the happy face) I like it!
        Now ,extend the activety by introducing’I love it’.
2. listen ,point and find ‘say, eat, love, lookat’and ‘think’.
        Tell the students to close their student’s books.
        Tell them to listen to the recording and write down all the animals they can hear in the recouding.
        Now ask them to open their student’s books and read the dialogue aloud.
        Then invite two more able students to come up to the front of the class and carry out the role_play oithout looking at their students books.

        Ask the student to close their books.
        Tell them to listen to the recouding and write down the name of the animals they can hear in the recording.
        After that, ask the students to opin their student’s books and read story.

        If you want to do extra practice with the bocabulary, you can play this game after doing exercise2.
        Write the following animals on the board.

教学程序:
1.        Warmer
        Have the students look at activity 1. They should number the pictures1, 2,and 3 respectively. Make sure they do this very lightly in pencil so that they can erase it later.
        Now tell the students that you are you are going to say things about the story and they have to say which pictures you are talking about.
2. Listen, point and find ‘often”.
        Have the students close their books.
        Tell the students that you are going to play the tape and stop after each utterance. The students have to tell you who the speaker was: Lingling or Amy.
        Now play the tape a second time and tell the students to call out ‘stop’ each time they hear the word ‘often’.
3. Ask and answer.
        Get two pieces of large paper.
        On one piece write ‘very often’ and on the other piece write ‘not very often’.
        Put the pieces of paper on the walls around the classroom.
        Now tell the students that you are going to ask them questions and they have to point to the relevant responses.
Example: T: do you often go to see films?
        Sspoint to the response that is relevant for them)
        T: do you often play computer games?
        Ss (point to the response that is relevant for them)

1.Warmer
        Tell the students you are going to mime three things you often do. They have to guess what the three things are.
        Now mime three things you don’t often do and once again, get the students to guess what you’re doing. Make sure they say complete sentences,i.e.,’You often/don’t often….’
        Now get the students continue the activity in pairs.they should take turns to do the mines.
2. Memory game: listen and say.
        Get four students to come to the front of the class.
        Have each student make up a statement using ‘always’, ‘never’, ‘sometimes’ or ‘often’.
        Make sentences with ‘he, she , his, her’.
Examples: T (points to or indicates daming)
         Ss: he always cleans his room.
         Tpoints to or indicates lingling)
         Ss: she never plays with dolls.
3.Listen and say, then chant.
        Get the students to look at the pictures and describe them(a child laughing, singing, clapping, reading a book). Ask the students if they like doing these activities.
        Play the tape and let the students listen to the chant, play it again and have the students say the chant at the same time.
        Go through the chant and cemonstrate the mime for each of the actions mentioned in the chant. The students should do the appropriate mime as they read the activities in the chant.
4. after saying the chant
        Have the students substitute other actions instead of the ones mentioned in the chant. Explain that as ‘tree’ and ‘tv’ rhyme. They should not change those two activities.
        Point out that they shoud choose activities with the same number of syllables as the originals.

        Bring a picture of the UN building to class.
        Show the picture to the students and encourage them to say what it is.
        Then, discuss some simple facts about the United Nations

        After that, ask them to read the dialogue and underline examples of the expression ‘want to’.
2.        Talk about what you want to do.
        Tell the students that you are going to mime the activities that you like to do.
        Encourage the students to guess the activities.
        Continue with lots of different verbs so that they can revise the verbs.

        Put the following table on the board.
Who wants to go to…?  Beijing/Hongkong /Harbin/ Kunming /Guilin
        Now, ask the students to listen to the recording and say who wants to go to which city.
        Pause the tape as often as is necessary for the students to do the activity.
2.        Listen and say, then chant.
Before saying the chant
        Have the students look at the picture and describe it
        Ask the students if they know any clapping games if they do, have some of them come to front and demonstrate the games.
While saying the chant
        Play the tape and let the students listen. Play it again and have the students s ay the words at the same time as the tape.
        Now demonstrate the actions. Get students to come to the front and be your partner.
        Now have some pairs come to the front and do the actions as the rest of the class says the chant.
After saying the chant
        Have the students work with a partner and find all the rhyming words in the chant (‘sea’ and ‘me’; ‘bus’ and ‘us’, ‘zoo’ and ‘too’).
3.        Homework: practice the dialogue with the partner.

        revise imperatives by giving the students instructions.
        Examples:

2.        listen and say, then sing.
Before singing the song
        have the students look at the pictures and describe them
        ask the students what they think the song oil be about. Find out
if they know any action songs that inbolve clapping and stamping.
While singing the song
        play the tape and let the students listen to the melody. Play it again and have the students sing along with the tape.
        Have the students do the approptiate actions . when they sing ‘clap your havds’.they should do that action. They should stamp their feet as they sing ‘stamp your feet’.
        Note that the students can do these actions while they are seated at their desks.
After singing the song
        Have the students substitute other lines instead of ‘clap your hands’ and ‘stamp your feet’.
Examples:
Blink your eyes.
Nod your head.
Shrug your shoulkers.
Touch your nose/ears.
Wiggle your ears.
        Now have the students sing the song again and use the new lines. They should also do the appropriate actions.
Homework: sing the song
