教材分析
本单元围绕“谈论和比较不同的东西和事情”这个话题，进一步为学习用现在完成进行时描述事件而设计了相关的语言情境。Section A 1a—2c呈现了本单元的重点语法现象----如何给别人提出意见和建议，然后设计了听力活动、俩俩结对活动，从听说角度训练了本单元的核心句型，并在Grammar Focus 中进行了归纳总结。
学情分析
学生已经学习了现在进行时，在之前的知识学习中，也接触过给别人提意见和建议，对于现在完成进行时还是很生的，这应该是学生学习的难点也是重点。

教学目标
Key vocabulary: compare gift scarf CD bicycle birthday suggestion comment album personal special
Key structures:
----What should I get my mom for her birthday ?
----How about a scarf ?
----No, that’s too boring.
Aims of abilities:
1. To train students’ abilities of listening and speaking .
2. To train students’ communicative competence.
Aims of emotion and evaluation :
1. To be interested in speaking in English .
2. To be able to help each other in communication.

教学重点和难点
重点：1.Key vocabulary in this period .
2. Master the structures in grammar focus .
3. Improve students’ listening skill.
难点：1. How to improve students’ listening ability.
   2.Make conversations using the structures in Grammar Focus.

教学反思
1.这节课在备课上还是比较充分的，教材的内容比较熟悉，但是对有些教学理论还是无法再教学过程中运用。以后要多学习教学理论知识，尽量把他们运用到教学过程中。
2.基本教学任务完成，学生的基本问题是对于现在完成进行时还是运用的很不熟悉。课后作业我会多让他们做点这方面的练习。
3.以前的对话我基本都是为了节约时间，而采用师生对话较多，在今天的课堂上我尽量的让生生对话，我在旁边加以辅导，效果还是很不错的。
4．如果条件允许的，我会在课堂上运用更多的图片之类的教学工具来帮助教学。
