Setp1.Warming up
1. Greeting
2. Show the students’sialogue
Step2.Revision
1. Give the Ss some words and make sentences
2. Try to recite the words .and setence pattern
3. Write the sentence on the board
4. check the Ss their survey.
5. Take out two different colours’box.one is red and one is blue.and put the apple,banana,book,pen,pencil box in it.The red box is empty.Ask Ss come to the blackboard and touch the blue box and ask
T:: what’s in the box?
S1: There are./There is…
Then T take something from the blue box and put it the red box.and ask Ss to touch and say:There was/There were.
Step3. Leading in
1. Review ten words and put it on the blackboard.Ask Ss to remember it and say:There was/There were…..
2. Put ten words on the blackboard again.Then put some new words on the blackboard and say:There wasn’t…..

1. T: Class.I’d like you to open your Ss’ Books to Unit 2.Activity 1.Look at the pictures.what can you see? Look carefully.It’s not a park.It’s a part of a school so it’s called a playgroud.
2. Read the word” Playground’’ all together.There is a small playground and there is a big playground in the pictures. Now please watch the video carefully.and read the sentence by sentence.Then make some statements about the pictures.You must listen and say”Yes”if they are correct or”No’ if they are incorrect.
T: There are some small trees.
Ss:No.
T:There were some little trees.
Ss:Yes.
T: Now the trees are big.
Ss: Yes.
T: The playground is small.
Ss: No.

T: Now when you sing the word”four”,I want you to put four fingers in the air and when you hear the word”floor”, I want you to point to the floor.
T: Right.Let’s read through the song and do the mimes at the same time.We have five words we must do mimes to ‘chicken’,’eggs’,’chick’’four’and ‘floor.
T: Now let’s play the tape again and sing and do the mimes at the same time.

Look at the Activitu 4 and find out one difference between the two pictures.
