教学过程

Step 1 Warmingup

1.Revise thewords in Unit 1 by having a guessing game.

2.Ask them: How do you spell…? To check thespelling of the key words in unit 1.

Step 2 Introduction

1.learn the newwords and read them together,especially, pay attention to their pronunciation.

2.Learn newwords and read them together, encouragement should be given.

3.Give them somehelp and ask some of them to read them in class.

Step 3 Practice.

Show somepictures, ask and answer like this:

A:What’s this inEnglish?

B:It’s a…

A:How do youspell it?

B:It’s…

A:Thank you.

B:You’rewelcome.

Ask some of themto have an action in class, encouragement should be given.

Step 4 Listenand read:

1.Listen to thetape in Part 1, repeat.

2.Read Part 1with the help of their teacher freely.

3.Read thedialogue in pairs.

4.Encourage themto have an action in class.

Step 5 Listenand point

1.Listen to thetape in Part 2 and write the words below the pictures according to thespellings.

2.Read the wordsin groups ,then have a dialogue in pairs in class.

Step 6 EverydayEnglish

Show EverydayEnglish to read them together.

1.Can you helpme, please?

Yes, of course.

2.I don’t know.

3.Can you saythat again, please?

4.Thank you.

You’re welcome.

Step 7 Readand match.

1. Listen to thetape and write their answers in their books to finish Part 3.

2. Show theanswers to check their answers and give more encouragement.

3. Check answersand read them together.

Step 8 Workin pairs.

1. Work in pairsto finish Part 5 freely.

2. Ask some ofthem freely in class.

Step 9 Listenand write

1. Listen to thetape in Part 6, write the answers.

2. Check answersand read them together.

Step 10 Exercises

Do someexercises in class to consolidate what they have learnt in this lesson.Encouragement should be given.

Homework

1. Use schoolthings to ask and Answer: Can you help me, please? How do you spell it?

2. Write theirown dialogues on their exercise books.
