(3)Warming up and Lead-in
Greet students as usual and play a song about travelling. Ask them some questions like if you want to travel, what luggage should you bring? And lead students to answer the question and lead in the topic.
Lead students to read the sentences: It’s heavy... It’s light... on the blackboard. When teacher reads sentences in a low voice, students should read in a loud voice and vice versa.
Let students make a dialogue by using some words about describing objects and sentence patterns in groups of two: It’s... and choose some groups as representatives to give a performance and teacher gives some positive comments.
